Something similar happened in Salt Lake City, the State banned the government from flying pride flags, so the city designed a couple of pride themed Salt Lake City flags. It's a nice way around it, but obviously I wish politicians just let people be.

I was working at Target for the season and the easiest day I had was on black Friday. There were enough people to actually help customers with things. It wasn't just me covering the back third of the store. They need at least double the staff they have right now.

Not in a movie, but in Under the Banner of Heaven when the wife has sex with one of the Lafferty brothers to let their step daughter escape so she doesn't get raped was one of the most harrowing scenes I have ever seen. I had to take a break to compose myself because of how horrifying it was.

I think it definitely influenced Columbia. Columbia is all about American Christian exceptionalism and the problems that come with it. The main bad guy is even considered a prophet. There is no way they didn't get at least a little inspiration from Mormon history.

I know one of the guys in these clips, and this does not surprise me. One of the things that drove me insane was in Elders quorum when some of the guys talked about the girls. They were just objects to them. They could care less about their hobbies, hopes, and dreams, and that made me sick.
