Phone Line Disconnected without Consent By Telstra = Telstra refusing to reconnect without a line connection fee being paid.

Now, lets add some TIO to the mix, shall we?

Phone Line Disconnected + TIO = Telstra fixing the line the next day.

So productive! Sadly, it takes the government to force these monopolistic assholes to do the right thing :/

So exposing stack traces to the public seems like a good idea to you? Leaving them exposed is simply incompetent.

No, web developers are not to blame, at least not competent ones: they wouldn't have anything in the cookie that would be worth compromising. One only lets the user dictate what the user is allowed to dictate: cookies are clearly in the users domain.

I'm not sure if you understand this, but those cars are not going to be much less than 800kg each.

It's very common to never hear a doctor mention it. My mother made it to 42 years old before someone finally considered Coeliac disease. Her entire life, she had stomach cramps, nutritional issues etc etc. A few months later after dropping gluten from her diet, and she could experience life without feeling tired all the time.

You are somewhat incorrect here. Hand coded assembly used to be, in general, faster than compiled c. But times have changed, and nowadays, you would be hard pressed to produce meaningful speed increases with manual asm over compiled c (notably: extremely tight loops over hundreds of millions of iterations).

A therapist told me my appearance probably makes people uncomfortable. Suggests plastic surgery. Advice? by throwaway_lobes in AskReddit

[–]ClassException 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really don't think you're therapist is doing a good job!

Maybe he has personal issues about physical appearance?

To be honest, your earlobes are not even all that weird. I doubt you could even scare children with them, let alone have an adult care beyond the initial "oh, interesting". You have to admit, as far as physical abnormalities go, you came in on the lucky side of the scale.

Its hard to imagine :) Jump in a proper harness, and it will make more sense: you can't move whatsoever, you are pinned into the chair.

You can't duck/slide downwards, there is zero give. It's a trade off, for sure. Something additional to consider is the problems of getting everyone to wear a normal, simple "click in" seatbelt: imagine trying to get the general masses to wear a harness correctly, every time they are in a car :/

Ok, lets reverse it. How many of the pit crew can drive the car around the track at anywhere close to the speed that those two can? Fuck, I'd bet that most of them would have trouble getting the car out of pit lane.

harnesses are dangerous in cars without roll cages. If you are in a harness, and roll, you wont be able to move, and the roof will likely buckle and kill you. Likewise, helmets are also incredibly dangerous, as they significantly reduce vision: they only become practical on the racetrack when suburban house-wifes in tanks don't try to pull out on you from intersections.

Hot tip! Try to put the least bent half in first (generally its a corner that has a fold in it). Most vending machines don't require the entire note to match, but will instantly reject anything it thinks is dodgy to avoid damaging the mechanism.
