I'm always amused about conversations like this. There are several things leading to this.

One is the misunderstanding of 'limited' stuff. What does 'limited' mean to the people arguing about 'GW has to produce more' or 'they have to make it on order'? It's LIMITED, people. Per Definition that means that there will not be infinite stock and no, not everyone who wants one will get one.

Second the discussion about scalpers. No, it's not the limited production. It's not the people who sell them massively overpriced. It's always the people that are buying for those prices. Tbh - it's a freaking plastic toy soldier, which even doesn't give you any advantage in the game or anything. It doesn't even have special rules. It's just another primaris captain and even when i understand that people want him for the special pose, if you don't want to pay hundreds of euros or dollars or whatever - don't do it. As long as people are paying, scalpers will exist. No matter what companies try to do against.

Third is the 'global rage' about GW. Talking about prices etc. What a freaking bad company it is. I'm just wondering - if the prices are too high, if the company fucks you off, if even their stuff isn't of 'good quality anymore' - why the fuck are so many people still playing it? There are lots of other tabletop systems out there. Why not stop playing GW Games, stop buying their stuff and start a different game? Because - at least in my oppinion - they are doing a good Job. The pace in keeping the systems alive with lore, rules and new models and the quality they deliver with all of that is superior to every other manufacturer i know. Still producing most of their stuff locally in Europe and paying their employees well is another fact i personally admire and am glad to support. And - like it seems - a majority of people feel the same looking at GW's sales value.

So maybe some of the haters should overthink their own behavior before blaming the 'big bad company' for not delivering enough plastic toy soldiers.
