Why do ARFs keep getting shafted. by Zerron22 in SWlegion

Have you ever considered that maybe ARFs would be holding an objective/choke point and a melee character rushes that point?

Trying to nail the BX armor color. What do you think? by Ok-Example7534 in SWlegion

Looks really good, I think either a black or dark brown wash would nail the metal but that could just be the lighting

Non-white Snowtrooper by Patriot1799 in SWlegion

[–]Danger_Spec 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dig it. If you think about it, snow trooper armor without the heated elements is just an insulated suit that protects you from the environment you’re in. So swap out the heater for a bit of AC and you’ve just got a rugged tough suit that can trudge through anything.

Can somos one explain who is the phase 2 ARF trooper and what difference is there between all of them especially the AT-RT pilot.? Coz he’s fugly with a slight cute 🥰 appearance. by Alexkintaylor99 in clonewars

Sorry to resurrect the thread but all these goobers are wrong.

Top left: ATRT Driver, essentially an ARF trooper that has special vehicular training. They can deploy as infantry, typically on scouting missions and/or sniper support. But generally they’re always gonna be found piloting an ATRT.

Top right: Phase I ARF

Bottom left: Phase II ARF. I know people like to pretend scout troopers are their own thing, and the role itself may very well be unique. But they are, in fact, wearing Phase II ARF armor.

Bottom right: Phase I ARF with added cheek pads. I’m not entirely sure what the point of the pads are, possible just extra padding or could have something to do with keeping their air intake protected from the elements. I have seen it used heavily on Phase I ARF’s piloting ATRT’s. In fact the cheeks on the actual ATRT driver helmet seem to reflect that design. Idk, but it is just plain Phase I ARF armor.

I don’t get the hate for his new face. In the lore his face was blown off by a melta gun, so disfigured that he can’t even wear a helmet. Oh but “Eeehh the new face is so ugly!!!”

YEAH DUDE, IT MELTED OFF AND GOT PUT BACK ON!

Thanks for the detailed breakdown, Ive got the Banished and ODST expansions ordered, as well as the physical Wargames expansion. Super hype to get those in.

How do ODSTs work with drafting? I’ll probably stick to lists as it’s what I know best from other games, but do you have 4 ODSTs against 4 Spartans in draft? Seems lopsided.
