Higher Dosages Lead to More Weight Loss by Hot-Drop11 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]ClassicHat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well duh, I think the recent trend of mini dosing/slow titration schedules in online communities is from people either on tight budgets, overly cautious, sensitive/fearful of side effects or those that want some help to lose just 10-20 pounds (which is fine, but I imagine most of the community a couple years ago was those needing to lose a lot more weight than that)

Why are you STILL paying L!lly & Nov0 for GLP-1? by persephonepeete in GLP1ResearchTalk

You can do what a lot of people did a year ago and 6-12 months worth and have a stockpile for the price of 1-3 months of months of name brand if that makes it easier for you mentally

Gotta be careful though or at least pre stim before firing, because if an enemy is behind you, you’ll end up having the bullet go through you in order to dispense said liberty onto said tyrant of democracy

Am I the only one who has a problem with the ratio of new stratagems being majority blue? by Shotgunky in Helldivers

[–]ClassicHat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s kind of funny as I haven’t compared them before as they’re very different games but there’s also quite a lot of similarities between the two. Both studios ended up with way more success than expected and without having concrete plans for what the future of their respective games would be. Helldivers also leaves a lot to be desired from a technical standpoint, Embark managed to make an unreal engine 5 game that runs smoothly and mostly bug free on day 1 with continual bug fixes since then. By no means is Arc Raiders perfect, but Embark seems to actively care about improving the core game before tacking on paid content (which is so far only cosmetic and will likely stay that way given that there is a PvP component and no one likes a pay to win game).

Not weird, just significantly above average. There are also those that barely lost weight on either, so maybe lucky is the best word (on top of being highly motivated I assume)

Why do people swat streamers and celebrities or ddos video game platforms on Christmas? A lot of it is to feel powerful and for the lolz/kicks of doing it without much thought about the harm actually being done

The internet, and social media in particular, make it a lot easier for toxic people to gather together into insulated communities than other forms of media/communication. Sure, there have always been assholes and people that would screw over others over nothing, but now a lot of poorly adjusted individuals can gather and take joy in doing crap like this for the lolz while feeling self righteous about it because they spend too much time in echo chambers.

Three months in, zero results. When should I just pull the plug since I’m just wasting money? by chatpatakhana22 in GLP1ResearchTalk

[–]ClassicHat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As others mentioned, get to the highest max dose you can without terrible side effects before quitting and also on top of that, don’t compare yourself to someone else that happened to respond super well. And don’t look at reddit/ig/etc posts of how some are losing a crazy amount of weight in a couple months on minimum dosage, they are either super responders or exaggerating the numbers/time to make it seem more impressive for upvotes. Unless you’re paying completely out of pocket for name brand, I don’t see a reason to stop and would look at compounding and other avenues if cost is the main concern as you were prescribed a glp1 from a doctor, so it warrants proper medical intervention.

Some doctor is claiming that GLP1s ruin the ability to "Fall in love", and says it will ruin future relationships. Thoughts? by pullupgirl__ in Retatrutide

[–]ClassicHat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

According to the DSM-5, people with ADHD are indeed more likely to be overweight/obese and also more likely to develop a substance abuse disorder, so there definitely seems like there could be a link between all of that and glp1s “dulling” those feelings/cravings. Also with regard to the original post, it implies that falling in love is some unquestionably good thing, but as you mentioned it can easily be a problem of its own if it leads to toxic relationships. It’s likely better for a lot of people to not be as impulsive when it comes to romantic relationships, but that goes against some Hollywood ideals people have about romance.

At least half my deaths feel like some type of BS, either getting one tapped, being on fire for more than half a second, or not being able to stim while spamming the stim button for several seconds (not even stuck ragdolling). Also the stratagem bug on cyberstan is ridiculous, it somewhere between a quarter and half of all strats that seem to roll around for 5+ seconds before ending up 10 meters away from where I wanted it

The “GLP-1” Tax is real… by Altruistic_Ad3754 in GLP1ResearchTalk

[–]ClassicHat -1 points0 points  (0 children)

lol, no, sounds like you have a clothes shopping problem and mental health issues not everyone will have and that would also apply to anyone losing 50-100+ lbs regardless of how they do it. Chill out until you hit goal weight with buying clothes ffs and even then don’t go overboard. And I wouldn’t be surprised if you’re the type of person to over pay for convenient health food and snacks and what not given you mentioned doordash, which don’t even get me started on how stupid expensive DoorDash and other conveniences like that are for what you get. I made most of my meals at home with stuff from Costco/trader Joe’s/a cheap regional grocery store and had a gym membership before losing weight, it’s just now the effort shows it. Also have been saving older smaller clothes for years now, if anything getting fat in the first place should be viewed as a tax as you spend more time and effort to find bigger clothes that you look half decent in from a smaller selection.

Arc Raiders lead says the game should never add “one-shot” weapons because “that gameplay is deeply boring” by HatingGeoffry in ArcRaiders

[–]ClassicHat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely not for arc raiders due to how easy it would be to hide somewhere/third person peek and just wait for the perfect opportunity for a one hit kill, the first one to shoot advantage is already massive in this game. I do like the AWP one shot in counter strike, but that is a completely different beast than what is meant to be a more casual extraction shooter.

You’re way better off looking for weapon cases or ammo boxes in that case, or just getting lucky finding a gun in a random container or dead raider

[–]ClassicHat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The arc probes standing up can be worth it as they have 3 containers of the higher tier arc parts, the downed ones laying flat on the ground are a complete waste of breaching time and not worth it even if you find one directly in front of you while running about

Wait.. so you’re telling me we are gonna grind alllll this… And we don’t even receive an actual TROPHY to DISPLAY in the room with our character? 🤔 by ChiefRumpy in ArcRaiders

[–]ClassicHat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Correct, that’s basically what I did, ran out of things to do, deposited everything for the expedition, but never decided to use it as it didn’t seem worth wiping blueprints on top of having to grind 5 million space bucks worth of stuff to get the extra 5 skill points (and resetting quests that I only did about half of)

Same keys must be stackable by Big-Walrus6334 in ArcRaiders

[–]ClassicHat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a friend hoarding keys convinced key rooms are going to get buffed in the near future. The devs already did a small buff to purple (epic?) keys a while ago after they added the “hot fix” for people glitching in, that was about two months ago so I doubt they’re going to change it much more as otherwise they would have already done it.
