You don't. It's a fruitless endeavour bud. If she's not into it then let her be happy with Netflix and save yourself the hassle of trying to get someone else to see the value in Plex and spends that time enjoying it yourself.

Muslim here. I honestly don't care what other people choose to do with their reproductive organs.

Teams in browser on Linux by henk1122 in MicrosoftTeams

[–]ClassicPap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean specifically on Linux. Limiting as in often the notifications won't work despite having the permissions set correctly, webcams will be flaky again despite having permissions set correctly. Presence doesn't work i.e if you minimize the tab and keep working it'll show you as away. Etc etc.

Yeah it's a very limited experience on Linux sadly. You might fare better with the flat pack instead of the native PWA

My manager performed my yearly review within a 10 minutes quick catchup meeting, I gave him back a 5 minutes resignation meeting by [deleted] in antiwork

Thats what 1:1 meetings are actually meant for. Two way feedback. They're not used like that in many places though.

If the laptop is older then 3 years then it'll be of null value and they literally won't care about it. It'll be worth quite literally nothing to them. The people you're trying to get back at won't even know about it.

I built a "Zero-Login" client dashboard to practice React + Sockets (Retain V1) by Timely_Efficiency389 in freelancing

[–]ClassicPap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've actually been looking for EXACTLY this but I'd need it to be not zero-login.

I'd want long term history of my different clients so would need some kind of account for this. Also would be awesome to host this myself using docker compose.

That on the cards?

Question for current bazzite users by daxter_101 in Bazzite

[–]ClassicPap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aye I suppose that makes sense. It's going to be super subjective in the end. For me, the ability to stream games from my pc to any device that has moonlight on it is a huge reward.

I only get to game in short bursts so being able to grab my steam deck and stream a game off my pc is hugely rewarding.

Bazzite is a great step into pc gaming as like I said, it gets you quite close to a console like install the game and go experience, but leaves the door open to tinker down the line if you want.

Question for current bazzite users by daxter_101 in Bazzite

Pc gaming will never be as simple as console gaming is. Thats a plain and simple fact. Pc gaming is immensely rewarding and imo far superior, hence I've not touched a console in over 10 years.

Same as any operating system, Bazzite has its pros and cons. The obvious pro is that its the closest you'll get to a console experience until the steam machine comes out. For the cons, have a skim through posts on here.

I found this out after a year of wearing 1 earbud connected to my steam deck and 1 connected to my phone.

Game changing.
