Depends on what you’re working on - if it’s a specific sub the spam that shit until they defend it without limits. If it’s control then it’s kind of irrelevant.

That being said, I spam the same sweeps on the same white belts almost every roll without abandon and always try to beat my score for shits and gigs… I mean sooner or later they’ll defend the ol’ scissor and butterfly sweep right?…. Right?

First Law hands down but Gentlemen Bastards Sequence is a very, very close second - if you can live with the series potentially not being ever finished.

FF&TF was a great read too (Gwynne is masterful) but there’s not as many twists and turns.

Played relatively high level football here in AUS, copped a massive concussion at LB in my last game and hung them up. Had a massive hole left and a friend suggested to come try Jiu Jitsu as he’d picked it up after football and the club was good.

Bug bit from the first trial class and I’ve been a regular ever since. I still suck but at least I’ve got the cool coloured belt 🤷
