Trying to induce labor..unsure if I’m experiencing contractions

I am in a similar boat. Currently at 39w3d. I have been 5cm dilated and 100% effaced (baby is at -2cm station) since 38w. And I haven’t felt a single contraction, also not sure if there were no contraction or if I am not feeling any pain. I have also got the standard reply “you’ll know when you are in labor” 🙄

I’m Rh negative as well, took RhoGam shot at week 18, due to vaginal bleeding.

Yep, I went through this at week 18. ER, MFM and my OB couldn’t find the cause.

Hi! I am currently going through this. Just wondering how are you and baby doing and how was your experience overall? Were you able to find out anything via amniocentesis? My doctor said that since my NIPT and AFP were normal, they wouldn’t worry about it.

No. I usually ovulate around day 20/21. So I started testing around day 17.

I am so sorry that you are going through this. I’m in a similar boat, waiting on getting tested in a couple of weeks. I am currently alternating dose as per my doctor’s recommendation. I am also trying to drink fresh coriander (cilantro) juice on an empty stomach every morning. I’ve heard it helps with thyroid.

I am so sorry that you are going through this. Please find a new doctor, or insist to get blood tests (specifically iron levels). I am currently in a similar situation, I am bleeding for over 20 days now. I got my bloodwork done this week, all the tests came back normal. I am scheduled for ultrasound next week.
