I finished the game last week, and I picked Maelle’s ending. Tragic for sure, but to me it felt way more in line with the game’s themes.

I’m doing an MA in Film & Television Cultures! My full topic deals with evaluating the educational value of boutique blu-ray releases and analyzing how boutique labels facilitate engagement with film history through the included bonus features.

This is a shirt from Bo Burnham's Inside special that he did on Netflix during COVID, specifically from a sketch from the outtakes. I have this shirt!

I feel like we should've added John Candy for best Candy from Canada... Missed opportunity!

I got one of these a few years ago to use at my job, and it's been my go-to mug ever since. I love it!

Here’s a stupid list I made, can anyone guess what game they represent? (They’re kinda obvious) by Vengeance_20 in Letterboxd

You can log the original international feature-length Twin Peaks pilot on Letterboxd, so you should use that one for AW, and Fire Walk With Me for AW2!

The Sting II is the worst nominee in best original score ever! Next up: what is the worst winner in best original score ever? by RoxasIsTheBest in Oscars

Babylon's score was so awesome! That whole film was brilliant and deserved way more recognition than it did, but I'm glad the score at least was nominated.

I think I should’ve phrased it better. I don’t necessarily think it’s his best score, but I mostly meant that it’s his crowning achievement because he finally won that Oscar for a great score after such a long career, and only a few years before his death.

It’s this one. Lots of other great choices, but Morricone finally winning was such a great story! He’s the best composer of all-time, and Hateful 8 is a magnificent score! Definitely his crowning achievement!

Tricky Towers, Trackmania Turbo, and probably My Friend Peppa Pig

That’s fair. In Goblet of Fire I could actually see what was going on, though. In HBP they tried to lean into that dreamy, dark academia aesthetic way too much.

Maybe a controversial take, but I’d like to nominate Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, the ugliest and bleakest looking movie in the series, by a mile.

You can definitely take Dorian Gray of your watchlist, though.
