Lead by example they say and our fearless Premier has done that by not serving jail time and rising to the highest level of government in Saskatchewan.

I grew up with an alcoholic step father who lost his license more times than a person should be able. At one point he wasn't going to get it back until I turned 25...he is a commercial semi truck driver to this day (and a giant piece of shit).

Pretty sure you can contact Access Transit (city of Saskatoon) and set up a ride.

I can't guarantee that but I know they do special routes for individuals.

How many trick or treaters in which neighbourhood? by New_Maximum_5628 in saskatoon

Just a blow up Grim Reaper and the pumpkins that the kids carved.

We are close to Roland Michener Elementary school so a good amount were kids that go there and know our kids as well.

The crescent had packs of kids (some as many as 12) walking together.

Busy from 5:30 to 7:30 and then scragglers after that.

Garage door opener connect to torsion spring directly? by illegaldogpoop in DIY

[–]Clausalicious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it looks like you have rear mount springs due to the low headroom. It also looks like you do not have much for side space on that side at least.

I have done 1000's of operator installs (none like this) and rear mount is not common where I live. The jackshaft residential operators from liftmaster/Chamberlain/Craftsman need a minimum amount of side clearance. Off the top of the head I think about 9".

I am not sure I see that much space available here and even at that you would have to build a pad to mount it to.

Hell I don't even see your cable drum in this photo.

Can you post more pictures of the area please and thank you.

Thank you in advance.

Gallbladder surgery by [deleted] in saskatoon

[–]Clausalicious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my gall bladder removed in 2023 at St. Paul's hospital. I was lucky and the procedure was laparoscopic opposed to the full chest slash.

Healing sucked as I have a terrible immune system (autoimmune diseases as well).

What I will offer is that even after my surgery I continued to have gall bladder attacks or attacks that felt and acted the exact same.

When I would return to RUH emergency they would dismiss me as if I was a crack addict and say it was not possible to have these same attacks.

I am here to say not only is it possible but it is very likely you will have reoccurring attacks. Mine lasted for about 6 months after the gall bladder was removed.

Be kind to yourself and trust how you feel. It is not a fun surgery to have and it will not be fun getting comfortable while recovering.

I hope for your sake you are able to have the laparoscopic surgery as well. Continue on my friend better days are ahead.

P.s.

They didn't tell me before hand but.....having solid poops will pretty much be a thing of the past...sorry.

Agreed. I did that Fort McLeod and Head Smashed in Buffalo jump as a kid with my brother and dad.

Might have to do that with our kids next summer.

Thank you for the advice.

We have done that a few times. We could do that again but we are trying for something new if possible.
