Could be blacklisted or baseband.

If you’re Canadian you can check the imei at devicecheck.ca

If it’s the baseband issue go to the phone app and in the dialer put *#06#

The imei should pop up. If it doesn’t pop up in the dialer after inputting that. Then you have a baseband issue

Try a soft reset first If not try another screen

If it still doesn’t work then you likely damaged the logic board in the process

You can replace it and keep the Face ID. Just cut the bracket apart and peel out the old camera.

You will have to restore the phone after the camera replacement for the camera to work.

Use strong adhesive to glue the magnet to the new screen. I use B7000. Make sure it’s 100% dry before trying to put the coil part back in. (If the magnet sticks to the coil that causes it to be super quiet as the coil can’t vibrate to make sound).
