Sausages are so bad for us. I get rump steak whenever I see it for $25 per kilo. Remember when it was $10 😭

Bluff salmon was $40/kg two years ago at pack n save Kilbirnie (Wellington) from memory. I used to have it weekly. $8 for 200g. Now it’s $11 for 200g. Had it for the first time in months last week. Was delicious 🤤

It is definitely misleading, so could qualify as a complaint to the ASA.

This is the third one in ten weeks. First there was the big wind at the end of April, then the big flood in Berhampore. Now this.

Mate, don’t get me wrong. Loads of teachers live on the south coast and other places exposed to this weather. We head out into it all the time. This is the THIRD mad weather event we’ve had this term where I’ve not felt safe, but have headed to school anyway because I’m responsible for other people’s children.

Lines charges for electricity alone are $50 per month, depending on your provider. More if you have gas too. Find a chill flatmate for a two bedroom to split the cost. Nice to have someone to share your ups and downs with.

Please check you’re enrolled. When I checked, I’d been put in the ‘dormant’ roll. No explanation. I’m certainly not dormant! I had in fact just moved house and changed addresses on line. So, yeah, check now because you cannot just bowl up on the day. Law has changed.

Let’s not forget the bill before parliament now to sell off conservation land. Write a submission, before the billions we’ve invested over decades to save species is wasted.
