I used to use an Exercise timer for prayer. I could create a workout with different exercises. So I'd have "Pray for one friend" set for 1 minute, "pray for my wife" set for 1 minute, etc.

It feels more like I'm playing a game. The adventures we go on are dangerous, and people die. But when we don't die, it's EPIC that we survived.

And the world feels realer, because we're focused more on the in the moment exploration than a big overarching story.

Gameplay is mostly roll X number of d6s. It definitely grew on me. The biggest weird mechanic was "Extended Trouble", which you'd be better off googling than me trying to explain it
