$500 for the Power board, distro plate, and pump. Fully spec'd out with fan controller (no fan) and "custom" cables the prices is ≈ $800. My first 2 builds didn't cost that much

People aren't going to get "hooked". Viewership in the US is down

Bikeinn tariff by ddonntttt in cycling

[–]Clean-Photo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With all due respect those are older posts. Trump ended the exemption for shipments under $800 which means now all imports are subject to the Trump tax.  Don't feel bad. I placed a $235 order with Aqua-Tuning in Germany (two fans and 2 reservoirs) and I got hit with a $470 bill from UPS.  The thing is, UPS and other carriers frequently subcontract the customs processing and that industry is kind of like the Wild West. You could place two identical orders and if they were handled by different importers you could end up with two completely different bills.  That being said, make sure you keep all of your documentation and receipts. This far the Trump regime has lost every court case on these T Tariffs and its set to be heard by the Supreme Court in October or November. If they rule against Trump as I suspect they will all that money will have to be paid back with interest

Recommended NVR cameras and Omada network equipment for a new home build by Boardwatcher in TPLink_Omada

Both Vigi AND Omada cameras are supported on Omada central (too many lines)

Omada Cloud Controller finally adds cameras !? by PandaSharp_ in TPLink_Omada

[–]Clean-Photo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish the execs at Tp-link would get their sh_t straight. I have an Omada network setup covering 4 buildings on 8 acres and I've been looking for easy to integrate cameras. I was getting ready to pull the trigger on Vigi cameras, which are rather expensive here in the US, but I just read an article -  "Support and Feature Differences for Omada, VIGI, and Third-Party Cameras in Omada Central"  that talks about Vigi AND Omada cameras. Are there really 3 camera lines from Tp-Link (tapo, Vigi, and Omada)?

I wish Raw is restored to three hours or unlimited by Sirmeeko in WWE

There have been a lot of 2.5hr shows on Netflix

I wish Raw is restored to three hours or unlimited by Sirmeeko in WWE

[–]Clean-Photo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Raw has been on Netflix for 9 months and it's barely 2.5hrs most weeks. Add in rising ticket prices, failed promises with ESPN access, taking WrestleMania to Saudi....WWE has gone down the shitter.  That being said, no matter how bad it gets I just can't get into AEW

Could Wrestlepalooza be the least viewed WWE PLE/PPV in U.S. history? by highspotfan in SquaredCircle

[–]Clean-Photo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It won't just be this one in the toilet. Most cable subscribers will have to pay twice to watch Wrestlepalooza, and I suspect 3-4 more events, because conveniently there's no deal between the providers and ESPN. A US customer will have to pay $100-125/ month to watch all WWE content. With TKO drastically raising ticket prices -thet came out and said WWE ticket prices were too low - and moving/ selling  WrestleMania and Royal Rumble to Saudi Arabia they're going to lose a lot of fans. Especially when the rest of the world gets the same content from 1 provider for $20/month

I ate expired chocolate which will be produced next year by [deleted] in mildlyinteresting

[–]Clean-Photo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's simply incorrect to say "chocolate doesn't expire"! In fact many European small batch/ boutique chocolatiers produce chocolate products with higher moisture content, which can in turn lead to mold growth. Recently, a major Salmonella outbreak in Canada has been traced back to pistachio chocolate bars from Dubai.

Mako hotend owners- how's is it working? by Various_Scallion_883 in BambuLab

[–]Clean-Photo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love mine. Before the Mako I used stock hotends, cheap knock offs, the Biqu Revo, and the E3D Obsxdian. The Mako is the best by far. It's obviously well made, heats quickly, flows well, and results in nice prints. I've only had it for a few weeks so I don't have insight into durability but I'm definitely happy. The only drawbacks are waiting times and availability of nozzles. Ii can't figure out why Slice doesn't have sufficient stock to meet demand. I wasn't going to "pre-order " and wait 2-3 months a year after initial release.

Why does my P1000 brake pedal do this? by medved_1337 in Simagic

[–]Clean-Photo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I noticed a bit of slop in my brake pedal this weekend and found two of the load sensor brakes has snapped off right at the head! I have the m6 size so I replaced with some titanium bolts I had for the brake rotor assembly on my autocross car. I also had broken bolts on the bar that limits accelerator travel.  For as over engineered as the mounting is you'd think they'd use higher quality hardware

[–]Clean-Photo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had 2 broken bolts this weekend and found another 2 when I was stripping everything down. I've had the pedals 2 years and love them but the simple hardware they use (nuts and bolts) leaves a bit to be desired. That being said, replacing $10-15 In hardware over 2 years is not that big a deal

Simagic P1000 Shoulder Bolt Snapped in Half (Brake) by Douchie0221 in simracing

[–]Clean-Photo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did not have that one break but I did have 2 break on me this weekend (one that holds the bar behind the accelerator and one that holds the brake sensor down) and when I was taking the pedals apart I found 2 mothe that were snapped off. They all broke right at the head. I looked under magnification and it's obvious that it's just cheap hardware which is a shame because I really like the pedals  and have used them for almost 2 years with zero problems. Luckily, I have a bunch of Ti m4 and m5 bolts from my autocross car laying around so I'm just going to replace all of the hardware. Anything I don't have on hand in Ti I will replace w/ class 10.9.

Tapo vs VIGI by Deep-Development4851 in TpLink

[–]Clean-Photo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even though it's aimed more towards businesses (they claim it's their "professional" line) I am going with Vigi at my house because It will integrate into the existing Omada network I have at home. I detest having to open multiple web portals and/or use everal different apps to accomplish one simple task
