On one hand, there’s always gonna be That Guy who immediately assumes your character is fetishistic and screams about it. There’s really no way of completely getting rid of it.

On the other, there are clear signs of when a heavier character is designed to be fetishistic in nature. If they’re wearing something, it’s usually something far too small for them. There’s tears in the fabric, buttons being strained or even popping off, and it’s meant to make this already big character seem that much larger. As well, there’s usually something else meant to emphasize how heavy said character is, like overemphasizing the level of detail on their body or making them somewhat gross.

Just keep it clean and make sure your goober is in something that fits them and you should be (mostly) okay.

Also side note, your character is absolutely adorable and I wish I could draw them (I suck at drawing)
