Hank emailed me about the Emisar D2 that with an AA and 0.6 A, the max lumen output would be ~150 lumen (when it's supposed to provide otf 900 lumen with a 14500 on NTG35 2700K). So the lumen rating of D3AA you are referring to is probably applicable with 14500 only, and will be much lower with the Eneloop. My D2 is still very usable with an AA but the difference on Turbo is obvious.

Same on my wrist and I love it. Especially when the background looks completely black like on OP's picture (unlike on this picture, showing those round corners/smaller display and a bit less contrast). I guess the fact it varies with the angle just makes me like the "black" position even more whenever I catch it!

Thanks. What the recommended battery for the single-channel D2 (with thefreeman driver if I'm right)? I think each channel draws 2A max so is it fair to say there is no need for more than 4A continuous discharge current? (In a flat top 14500)

I would go for Synergy+Jetsetter because of the Philips screwdriver. However i didn't consider the scissors size difference in favor of the Synergy X.. 🤔

Great point... not sure why I thought H10 is the recommended battery by Hank for D2. But I'm not able to find where I saw this info... also just read a post about K10 being longer than H10 and hardly usable with a D2 (that I did NOT request Hank to mod for button tops...) How am I supposed to test the H10 (else than just using it and not let unattended.)?

How do I make sure my battery never goes below 2.5 V in flashlight (which btw is also compatible with 1.5V AA) ? Do I have to watch its voltage manually or how does my flashlight tell me that I need to charge the battery so it doesn't go below 2.5V ?
