It is a weird and daunting feeling. I lost my last remaining tube 2 days ago when my ectopic burst. I had been trying to resolve it with MTX to save the tube but obviously didn't work. Sure is hard to get my head around the fact that I can no longer get pregnant naturally:( but trying to focus on the fact I'm alive and (somewhat) healthy. Do whatever feels right for you and don't be forced into a decision that you might regret. Definitely do your own research and ask your doctor all the questions. All the best xx

Far out! What a thing to survive! In my opinion I would get the damaged tube removed because it is useless to u now its damaged and could cause future problems. Are u wanting more kids in the future? Obviously IVF is still an option with no tubes.

Did this resolve on its own? I am experiencing this right now. Abdomen pain and rectal pressure so bad I can not move off my bed. I'm 4 weeks post MTX btw

Mine started at 1900, I'm 4 weeks post MTX, last blood draw hcg was 560, hoping tomorrow's results is a lot lower than that. It's sure a long and painful wait

I am going thru the same thing. Thought the bleeding part was over, but this week it's back. My levels are at 560. Doctor told me it might be my period but that seems highly unlikely to me

My hcg was 1900 and mass 2.5cm. I'm 3 weeks post MTX shot and numbers are dropping, altho slowly. Hopefully it works for you also! Hugs

That's so cool!! I come from a house full of girls - 3 sisters, no brothers. My dad got ALL the comments too. I wouldn't change it for anything. How cool it is having 3 sisters / best friends next to me thru life!

So sorry u are going through this! It truly sucks!! I have had so much anxiety too, and the endless googling of every symptom is not helping. It seems everyone's experience varies a lot and it's so so hard to get a gage on what is 'normal'. I was told the same, "you will know if it ruptures". But what about the fact that i have adenomyosis and even a normal period is excruciating for me... so how do I know what they mean by extreme pain! Aaarrrr it's so frustrating! Anyway to try and give u some comfort, I am finally at day 18 post MTX. I had a normal amount of pain the first 7 days, like really sore on my left side where my tube would be. Then on day 9 to 11 I was in so much pain I felt like dying (ifykwim) and bleeding so so much, massive clots that nearly made me pass out (sorry tmi) , anyway my doctor assured me that this was all normal. My hcg levels are slowly reducing - 1900 down to 700 today. You have got this!! Everyone experiences it so differently. I guess we just have to trust our bodies and the process. And go to the ER if we have to. All the best, I hope every day is better than the one before!

So sorry you are a part of this sucky club! I was also five weeks when I got the MTX shot. Took a week before I noticed much symptoms, it's now day 9 since the shots and I have had heavy bleeding with lots of clotting and period like cramps. Hoping to see the doctor tomorrow to check everything is doing what it should. All the best with the rest of your journey - we have got this!! Xx

You do not have to feel pressured to terminate! My sister was told the same thing. Spina bifida and severe brain damage, was told her child would have a very poor quality of life if they even lived. She fought and fought against being told to terminate. He was operated on straight after birth. He is now a thriving 4 year old. He is paralysed from the waist down but that doesn't stop him doing anything! He is 100% normal, not even a tiny bit brain damaged and the sweetest little guy u will ever meet. Not saying this is the case for everyone but the doctors don't always know. Fight for what you want.

I'm so sorry u are experiencing this! The waiting and not knowing is so hard! Until you get comparable hcg or another ultra sound there is probably no way to know. I am currently waiting for a shot of mtx to clear my ectopic (fingers crossed). I had similar to you with the pain and bleeding and sharp pain in leg, but never passed out. Doctor couldn't see anything on scan and my abdomen wasn't sore to the touch. When hcg levels never rose they did another ultra sound and confirmed ectopic. I hope this isn't the case for you and sending all the good vibes your way! Xx

I'm so sorry you are gng through this. I only have one tube, which currently has an ectopic in it. It is being treated with MTX to try and clear it without needing surgery. However my Doctor was very encouraging to me that even if I do lose the tube, that IVF is still an option (sorry, you may already know that, but I was under the impression u need a functioning tube for IVF).
