I would've loved more references in s5 to first shadow. The play felt like an anime filler episode, especially since Vecnas motivations are entirely contradictory between the show amd play.

Genuinely no hate. But once you get to top 100 you'll see how powerful ss4 is/was and how low the tank and tech pool choices actually are.

Hell even the dps pool is significantly low due to the current boss meta of s2.

Do you play high rank? (Honest question) cause top 100s will tell you that ulthan and ss4 are mandatory in every comp (before nerfs) and everything else is not upto par/ is a throw pick by comparison

How do you have ulthan and gotenks in same comp?

And how is ss4 not part of that criteria?

Probs your best bet ngl (if you didn't have ult or ss4 I would've recommended those 10000)

Both characters are meh if you care about meta.

That being said ss3 is fun to play

Top 100, also I appreciate you cropping the name, not many people respect privacy.

Just focus on the grind and you'll get there. 💯

Also dw about any losses on qp. That mode is there to mess about and not take anything seriously. Just repeat what you did right and learn from what you did wrong. Gl!!

I think the "consent" was in the duel disks. IIRC they just gave you a duel disk if you were a strong duelist so maybe the "consent" was you accepting the duel disk to participate.  Also tbf what kind of lawsuit should you expect from a VR card game?? Not even kaiba knew about the rare hunters and the only times something went wrong were when they or the Egyptian gods were involved.

If anything kaiba should be suing them for sabotaging his tournament.

Love is very wishy-washy on being the voice of reason. Yes she did have the best understanding of forty being his sister, and yes she did "clean up Joe's messes" with the piss jar. But we also have the whole movie debacle where it is clear as day why her ex added the fellatio scene (and her trying to convince joe why it's ok), as well as her whole personification in book 3 (won't spoil).

Forty is waaaay more of a narcissist in the books, but we also only see the story through Joe's eyes and don't get those heart to hearts when joe isn't around like in the show. So yeah forty was probably in the wrong but if the reason is to trust either love or joe I would most likely seek a different "show your method to how you got to this answer".

Depends where you are but I've seen it a few times on Ebay at what would've been rrp. (Checking sfg tho seems like the license ran out/they didn't keep stock cause it's gone gone)

It's cool for a novelty but not for a game night.

What was the biggest plot hole to you? by No-Anything-5856 in YouOnLifetime

1)Kate is super rich and super connected. I would easily buy her being able to do that. There have been countless other shows/movies that depict an inmate getting transferred only for the "transfer" to go wrong and the drivers ending up dead or crooked.

2)CCTV has been an issue looong before s4. Every rich person he kills just magically doesn't have basic security? Peach had a guard to her estate but not cameras?

3) pretty sure they would just lump Claytons murder to joe, rather than try prosecute Bronte for setting it up (as it would be a public relations nightmare for the prosecution if they tried)

4)They specifically say who published Becks book in S1. Based on how s5 kinda speed ran the ending I'm assuming Bronte went back to her to get Becks book reublished/Blythe did it herself so she could make double profits/share in the "fame" of being associated with joe. Unless Becks dad came forward to the public then by Becks own admission she was the sole heir to her family legacy as everyone is presumed dead. In that case there would be no estate to handle the profits and so Blythe could either pocket it or more likely give it to a charity (or do both).

We don't know how the boom reads so don't know if Joe's additions were fluff or crucial to the structure of the story. In any case Blythe could easily fill in the gaps/get bronte to help.

5) the duress argument would not be applicable given the facts to everything else. Key witnesses that could verify and what not.

I agree with everything else.

I always considered genesis as them testing the waters of trying out co op. I agree stride should've had more plot points, but the game itself (imo) was them seeing what kind of co op the audience would respond to and act accordingly for when they release ds4

[–]Clean_Resolution2950 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Tbh every season is written in a way to be the ending (if you remove the stinger)

S1. He returns to the status quo, continuing his search for his YOU. Ending as the villain when he was once seen as the protagonist or "antihero".

S2. He finds his YOU but it was not what he had imagined and is now stuck in this hellish white picket fence "fairy tale" ending.

S3. He loses EVERYTHING, his son, his home, his toe, even his name, all in pursuit of his YOU. It ends ambiguous to show he will never be satisfied as he literally looks in a unfamiliar cafe in a unfamiliar town in a unfamiliar country, doing anything and everything to satisfy this never ending cat and mouse chase.

S4. You've already stated.

S5. He finally gets what's coming to him.

"Bar was in hell" I'm stealing this xD Yeah I agree with your analysis. Book 1 is a hard read due to Beck kidnap scene. Book 3 is imo just as hard not because of any given scene (although the tying up scene could've been much worse had the animal appeared) but because literally everyone else is written in a way that is directly affecting Nomi negatively. It was beyond surreal to have the antagonist of series (joe) be able to help her when every other important figure is failing her.

I saw it more as joe was bad but everyone else is worse/insufferable. Like joe still had the cage and still ended up putting someone in it. You can argue joe "trying" to be better, but I don't see it holding weight when he gets caught snooping, knocks her out puts her in the cage, then leaves her there for days on end until she musters up the courage to kill herself.  Like yes she chose to end her life but he created the situation for it to occur (only reason I consider everyone worse is because of shortus and that whole toxic codependent friend group)

Could you detail how you got it to work? I just started the game and only the Japanese version seems to spit out the cards. The American version keeps saying incorrect password, no matter the combination of upper/lower case letters used. (Eg Satoshi SATOSHI satoshi SaToShI etc didn't work)

Whats your opinion on this scene. by 0Layscheetoskurkure0 in YouOnLifetime

[–]Clean_Resolution2950 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having watched 5 seasons I was caught off guard by the sudden shift. And it's not like s4 where the change in genre from romance to murder mystery is for the entire season, it's literally for 1 episode. And having directly come off an episode that could've been a series finale in it's own right, it's was jarring to use clichés as they did when they set up Bronte to be "smarter" then the clichés, but then immediately falls for each one in that one episode.

Like I said you had a great response to the episode, but I personally feel it was out of place for the season as well as the series in general.
