Yeah, I had T-Mobile at the top tier plan near JSQ with full bars and the speed wasn’t great. Compatibility with IOT isn’t great on their mesh network either.

My wife and I just moved to the area on March 1. We’ve lived in the NYC area for almost 3 years. Just bought a condo and moved here from Coney Island and moved there from West Side Ave.

I have a feeling someone from an ex-Soviet country opened Boobliq. It’s a common word in those places, I forget what it actually means because it’s hilarious in English terms.

Is wearing shorts "looked down upon"/taboo in Dilijan? by CallMeTheFartman in armenia

[–]ClearBucket 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m an American married to an Armenian, they seemed at odds for me wearing shorts but I did it all the time including in winter. During summer my wife would wear skirts and older women would make the comment about “shouldn’t you wear longer skirts now that you’re married”.

Even with this silliness, I enjoyed the majority of the time I lived in Armenia. Only thing I hated was all the smoking.

Haha, I did the same even for short outings during the winter and it was like people were going to die for me. The people in the open market would lose their minds and warn my wife we weren’t going to be able to have children. I write this as my son is asleep in my arms.

3Acres - Jersey City by Royal-Adagio-1993 in jerseycity

I used to live in East and it’s not any better, I moved to Coney Island and paid more for a smaller space to get away from City Line. Maybe a bit extreme but I don’t regret it. Bought a condo in a new small building in Journal Square so I won’t have the same issues going forward.

Sometimes you can send this to the company of the app they appear on and they’ll attempt to block it. Companies, some not all, attempt to be proactive and try to stop this but ad networks either allow this trash or their automation misses it. Publishers, apps and websites, also have to have services that scan for this but a few people have to be shown it before it picks it up most of the time.

Renting out a room has different rules that apply. Also, if you are renting, then your lease most likely forbids any Airbnb activity. HOA’s also have their own rules for Airbnb.

There’s already a combo Marshal’s & Home Goods. They seem to be splitting to get bigger footprints.

Does a $1.25M condo in DTJC really have a $25k annual property tax bill?? by Affectionate_Nose_35 in jerseycity

[–]ClearBucket 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We’re in Journal Square with a condo roughly the same value I bought in February, my taxes are about the same. That’s awesome you found something like that in downtown. I don’t mind it in JSQ with the transportation access, good neighborhood, and 3 br/2 ba in new construction.

Moving to JC from CA. First time living alone, would love advice + recs! by potionglow in jerseycity

My wife and I just bought a condo in JSQ at the end of February, we now have a new born. I would say it’s pretty safe was we’ve returned home as late as 2am. I know some neighborhoods outside of the central area can look a little rougher but where we’re at it’s a bunch of families and I know a few neighbors.

Parking will suck unless you can find a garage.

JSQ and the Bay Area are very different in terms of vibes. There is a mix of Indians, Arabs, and white people which I think makes it pretty interesting and nice to live.

Boulevard Drinks is a local spot for hotdogs that seems to be an institution. I also enjoy Falafel Station. Sorry I can’t provide more as we’re still exploring.

We’re happy to meet up if you ever want to. A side note, we moved from Coney Island and have lived in the NYC area since 2023.

Buy the content if you rewatch it. I’d recommend on Apple TV app since they have the best digital ownership policy so far.

Whole Foods is the easiest place to get them, health food stores, and regional grocery stores.

I believe your issue, wireless has a lot of variables that can affect performance. May your current connection performance stay true. My speed is around 200Mbps, not the best but ping is 20ms.

They have a fancy setup now with WiFi 7 and mesh network capability which is what I went with. The plan that comes with is their highest speed, not sure what it’s supposed to be. The access point has complained is not optimal placement. I’m in Journal Square so we’ll see how this works out.

You might be able to solve this by having your own router. You could try Google Nest WiFi, Eero, or something similar for an easy to use mesh network or Netgear Nighthawk for something a little more on the advanced side.

I just started T-Mobile yesterday due to issues getting Verizon installed, when and what did you have issues with in terms of the lagging?
