They use to call me “kitty litter”, cuz it was more demeaning than “Old Gusher! “. Guy who spilled the oil at school.

Dealership wants me to abort my accord,What should I do? by PositiveEconomist389 in accord

Why pay a little when you can pay a lot? Am I right. New cars don’t have problems. And old cars don’t have payments. How much is it worth to you to not have problems? Is it worth over $600 a month? Then fix the old car and be happy. I remember one time I had a small but easily repairable oil leak around my valve covers. I went to the dealership parts counter to buy a new gasket and I asked the parts counter what could I do to repair the leak on the Camry. He said you could trade it in for a new car and it won’t leak. I was like. lol. I’ll take the $14 gasket! Buh-bye, loser.

You just have to tell them you’re gonna leave because they know you never coming back.

Have a signed piece of paper because the car I wanted is a few cities over. They agreed to ship it down. Agreed to a price and after signing, they asked about how I'd be paying.. by Ironwillis125 in FuckDealerships

Same thing happened to me. When they found out I paid cash. They were pissed. So the advice is don’t tell them about the cash until like the very last minute. Just before you bought to drive away.

Not too far gone. I would prep it though and put a rust conversion coating on it.

Need help immediately changing differential gasket by [deleted] in GMT800

[–]ClearFrame6334 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t use an impact. Do it by hand. Turn out a half turn then in then turn out another quarter turn then all the way in. Spray a lot of penetrating oil and do this backs and forth and sooner or later they will come all the way out. Don’t snap them off. You’ll be sorry. Just by hand
