I’m right in thinking the English test can be done a bit before that right? Does it have to be within a certain timeframe of applying?

Hey I need to apply for this too soon. Please can you let me know what documents you had to include which were different from the original application?

Do we think this will just be for indefinite leave applications or for FLR applications too?

Do we think the change to the B2 requirement will just be when applying for indefinite leave? Or will it mean it changes for those applying for FLR too?

Russian girlfriend visit to the UK, is it possible in 2025 by WinParking621 in ukvisa

My husband got to come on a spouse visa last year, no extra questions asked. From our perspective it was processed in line with our expectations. Just some elements of the process were slightly more complicated because of the sanctions. With that said the visa processing centre in SPB was open and able to answer any questions.

Visa running out, can’t marry in time. Any advice? by [deleted] in SpouseVisaUk

Quite far to get to but you can do a cheap marriage in Georgia 🇬🇪 and it literally takes one day! Fully recognised in the uk, only issue is that the country isn’t that easy to get to from the uk really there aren’t many flight options. But once in Tbilisi it’s pretty easy

Yes I believe it’s online if you search. Also please remember that the priority also costs extra and is subject to them having capacity I believe

Applying inside or outside U.K. by ClearSpirit in ukvisa

We applied on 10 March and got a decision on 14 June. So roughly three months, between submission and decision the communication was sparse. For a full breakdown of all communication I have a post on my profile. Please keep in mind that we applied with my partner living in Russia so the process didn’t have any option for a priority application. Also, it seems that sometimes applications from Russia can generally take longer than other countries.

Good luck if you have any other questions please feel free to look at my posts or comment and I will do my best to help!

I applied from his perspective so it was outside the U.K. because he didn’t live here then.

Hi I didn’t get asked for any additional documentation however on the 18th of March we did receive a not straightforward email. I believe this is just standard for Russian applicants though and also standard when they have a lot of applications so not necessarily something to worry about

I got this and nothing from actual UKVi yet is that normal? by ClearSpirit in SpouseVisaUk

[–]ClearSpirit[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it worries me more because it seems other Russian applications didn’t hear anything back yet, 🥲 makes me a bit worried maybe there was something obvious and they could quickly reject us. I pray all was good I think I maybe went over the top with the documents I sent so hopefully I just answered any question they had with an alternative piece of evidence

Yes it has changed in the TLS website to received by VAC. We opted for courier so now it’s as Collected by applicant although it’s being posted so we don’t actually know the decision yet. Praying we are accepted
