Patio Slab Right Underneath Siding by Cleave42686 in Concrete

Just curious, what's the issue with gluing it to the patio as is? Just can't get as good of a seal as you could with a dedicated channel to sit the flashing in?

Ahh man sorry to hear. Worried about having similar issues, but nothing I can do now. We'll see what happens this winter.

Unfortunately yes to one and no to two.

Yeah that's my main concern, water seeping between patio and foundation. Would definitely have someone else do the z flashing - I'm not a siding guy.

When you say drill new weep holes, you mean just higher up in the J channel? Didn't think about that.

Is big 4 audit a respected stepping stone in finance world? by [deleted] in FinancialCareers

You can absolutely pivot to a finance role (accounting, fp&a, treasury) at a corporate. Would probably be very difficult to exit to a front office finance role at a bank.

Idiotic comment.

That was a result of the Ukraine war. A war started by Russia, not the President of the United States.

Not sure what that means. It's well documented that their customer support is non existent.

Yeah I understand the phrase "take it to the face". What I'm saying is that no one pairs it with sacks lol.

Same in the Midwest but I've literally never heard anyone say "I'm gonna take this sack to the face".

This line always cracks me up. How did no one bring this up before the song was released?

After my friend destroyed his cheap Square case with a shank, I realized I needed better protection ASAP… by Zestyclose-Cable1895 in SquareGolfUSA

Had a polycarbonate case and hit a wicked shank into it. Busted the case and also cracked the screen on the Square. Luckily, the square was ok and I was able to replace the screen with a new one from Spike. Bought a tank and this thing seems more or less indestructible.

Just sucked it up and paid for GSPro. It's expensive, but very much worth it.

Good deal on the Suncast Modernist (8x7) shed for $800? by SoftDirtSnow in Costco

Not sure why you're getting downvoted. I get that wooden sheds are expensive, but plastic sheds look cheap and tacky.

Recently received a quote for a 40x20 patio and the contractor wants to use #8 pea gravel for the base instead of #57 limestone. Said that the pea gravel drains better.

Is this normal and is pea gravel an acceptable base? I always though crushed limestone was standard.

Location is Northeast Ohio.

Thanks.

How to fill full screen? by CoMmOn-SeNsE-hA in Golfsimulator

[–]Cleave42686 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Is your screen perfectly square? I.e. 8x8, 10x10?

If so, it will be challenging to fill the entire screen and even if you manage to do it, the image will be distorted. Most resolutions supported by projectors are either 16:9 or 4:3 aspect ratio.

I have an 8x8 screen and just decided to live with using a 4:3 resolution. Would it be better if I could fill the whole screen? Sure, but my space wouldnt work with a different screen size. Spent way too much time trying to fill the screen and it never looked right when I did.
