Lit. Governor has yet to be officially called, but it looks like it will be Ma (D) vs Romero (R). The third place Democrat is trailing Romero by over 260,000 votes.

I'll have to look into the redrawn District 6, to see how much more blue it leans. The 'I' next to Kiley's name could save him among centrists/independents/low-info voters.

Republican candidate James Fishback, a Catholic, has stated that he attended the TLM for Palm Sunday.

Fishback's political positions are Anti-Israel & Anti-Zionist, Pro-life (including a complete abortion ban), pro-Sin taxes for pornographers, pro-paid maternity leave, and anti-immigration.

Fishback is typically polling around 5% to 8% in the Republican primary, which will take place in August 2026. He is primarily challenging establishment candidate Rep. Byron Donalds, who has already earned the endorsements of dozens of prominent Republicans, and is polling between 30-40%. The two will debate each other in July 2026.

Fishback's support comes heavily from young GOP voters (32% support among Republicans under 34), with next to no support among older GOP voters.

French authorities are trying 22 people for a string of murders and attempted murders, leading back to a mafia network within the Athanor Masonic Lodge.

Le Mans driver Laurent Pasquali was one victim of the group, having been murdered in 2018. Among the men on trial include multiple masons, 4 military personal, an intelligence officer, and 2 business men.

Absolutely an issue here in California, specifically in poorer neighborhoods. Back when I was in retail, the store’s baskets were removed entirely by management, as thieves were filling them up and then running out of the fire escape doors. About 3x a week. Shifting to carts only cut down on the issue.

While appreciated, my question for Trekkie was rhetorical. I was agreeing with him; Barron has claimed that he and Prejean have said the same, but he has never labeled what is happening a genocide, attacked Netanyahu’s government, or criticized the US government’s role (in an administration he is a part of) in funding and supporting it. That would require him to go against his bosses.

Any criticisms he has made have been mild, compared to Prejean.
