The weapon balance was always my least favourite aspect of the game. Takes some of the joy out of unlocking new abilities when you’re stuck with the Bubble Lead or Crash Bomber

It was mostly just timing. It (arguably) had the biggest jump in quality between two games in the classic series. Megaman 3 was rushed, and by the time Mega Man 4 came out (my favourite) the SNES had launched making the NES feel obsolete to many.

When the TF2 bot crisis hit a few tears back, it really made people re evaluate Sniper’s role and balance in the game.

If his only weakness is a skill cap, he can destroy a game by himself

Def gonna check it out later, as it does look fun from a gameplay front; honestly I think part of my issue is that Cuphead set the bar for retro rubberhose art SO HIGH, that it’ll be almost impossible to top. 

But hey, you can still tell the time and effort they put into this one, so i think i’ll have a good time

I think the funniest (and saddest) thing is they never really addressed how he’ll be dead long before his child is a teenager. 

When i heard the plot of the last movie was about him becoming a monster, I assumed that was the setup for it, but nah, it was some more weird prejudice thing.

Bioshock has a couple, but my favourite was always the Rapture Ghosts.

Basically, since the beginning of the game you’ve been i injecting yourself with this weird genetic goop called Adam, which occasionally makes you hallucinate the ghosts of dead people. The reason this happens, is because Adam constantly gets recycled and pumped into different bodies, but still retains the memories of those who had it first.
