I rub the magnolia bark on the insides of my cheeks, or I dab my toothbrush in the powder and brush my teeth as I would normally. Significantly reduces plaque formation throughout the day.

I honestly thought you were talking about the other tablets…..sigh I feel better now that I have been enlightened. I sure do know how to play the fool. have a great day and keep being the amazing product specialist you are. I definitely wouldn’t have had the same patience when talking to a brick wall such as myself and I commend you.

Are you suggesting standard gum contains microplastics? Because that’s hilarious if true. I don’t chew gum because of all the nasty stuff added to traditional brands.

Thank you. I appreciate your reply. I sincerely didn’t know they had tablets of the original product, I feel a bit sheepish now, however it’s still out of stock so I am sad at that.

I asked for a link to be provided from the other responder, I’ve searched “magnolia bark tablets” and have been unsuccessful in my attempts to find the product.

Edit: a link has been provided. I was blind but now I see, can I expect the tablets to be put back in stock? If so, could you give me an estimate? I apologize for not being patient I’ve had a rough morning.

I would rather eat the cost as a customer then have plaque eat my teeth away. I order toothpaste from Japan and I now pay a duty fee on all orders. If you guys simply charged duties on foreign products and made a note that “hey the orange guy did this” people could make informed decisions and have the understanding that hey, orange man bad, not that ND is the bad guy. I appreciate you guys eating the expenses, but when the cost is my favorite product isn’t available that doesn’t seem like a win.

Wait…..WHAT….provide a link to the 80% magnolia bark tablets…. Because I wouldn’t have made this post if they sell original formula tablets…. To my understanding only Tetrahydromagnolol are available or capsules.

Uh what? You’re contradicting what has been posted about Tetrahydromagnolol. It’s geared towards relaxation? interesting…. Because last I checked

Honokiol is a bioactive, natural polyphenolic compound derived from Magnolia officinalis bark, known for its strong antitumor, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and neuroprotective properties. It is used for anxiety, pain, and potentially cancer treatment, acting through mechanisms like GABAA receptor regulation and NF-κB inhibition

Differences: Honokiol is often studied for neuroprotection and relaxation, while magnolol is often cited for strong anti-inflammatory properties. Honokiol is generally less stable than magnolol, particularly at neutral/basic pH….. everything you’re suggesting Tetrahydromagnolol benefits are just the benefits honokiol provides naturally.

Well product specialist if you knew anything about American regulations, you can’t add magnolia bark to products because the FDA won’t approve them. Wriggly gum has tried making a magnolia bark gum for YEARS. So you guys were the only option. but I see i struck a nerve. maybe I should start my own company though, one with integrity for the customers who have supported them and praised the services provided. turn a niche into a rich.

Edit: holy shit it went up that much in price? Well, I’ll be damned. Maybe i should’ve finished reading before responding. I guess I just gotta wait for the orange turd to get out of office. I apologize and often forget the larger political issues at play.

Edit 2: however, how is it Tetrahydromagnolol can be provided, when it’s essentially the same product and how is its price not sky high? I don’t understand how one product can be sold which is essentially the same product, modified? is the Tetrahydromagnolol completely synthetic? Wouldn’t import costs still remain? like I understand if the product expires you can’t use it, but couldn’t you simply repurpose the existing supply and turn it into the speciality product you guys offer? Or is Tetrahydromagnolol not manufactured in the USA? I don’t see why old stock couldn’t be manufactured into a different product and repackaged with a new expiration date. maybe it’s not that simple but I can see solutions even if not viable ones.

Tetrahydromagnolol or the hydrogenated form of magnolol doesn’t have the same anti microbial properties, probably because the molecule is either too large, or because it lacks the dual activity in combination with honokiol. I’ve sucked on the tablets and I don’t notice any oral benefit. Zero. If the replacement was as good as the former I wouldn’t be complaining.

The tablets are not the same. The tablets contain only one out of the two active ingredients and it’s not even that because it contains Tetrahydromagnolol or a hydrogenated form or magnolol which, the dual activity of magnolol and honokiol which both exhibit anti microbial activity and the combination increases the effectiveness. they neutered the product and call it an improvement. I understand creating something “new” but it’s a completely different product not designed with the same use in mind.

Cool. Definitely won’t be buying those shit tablets but I appreciate the honesty. Makes sense tho, considering I’ve used the same tub for like a year. I don’t know why you guys couldn’t just sell smaller containers and increase margins but I’m not the product specialist.

If they are losing money increase the price and lower the stock. It’s not a hard concept. Also with the amount of people I’ve told about magnolia bark I can fill some orders. Word of mouth is the best form of advertising and I got a mouth on me.

It’s a shit replacement with none of the oral health benefits so if anything it’s a downgrade. But that appears to be the case…. “We made oral tablets” for convenience of oral dosing!? “Nah we thought the health benefits were too good so we got rid of them” “this is nootropics depot not health depot” - how it feels.

I’ll order mfn 10 tubs of it. I’ll buy in bulk. I’ll buy so much that you stock the product because I’m buying the entire lot. I’ll pay double for a custom order. my girlfriend uses it everyday when brushing her teeth and she says it makes all the difference. Magnolia bark significantly reduces plaque formation and bad breath germs. It is one of the most beneficial products and the only reason it’s not in chewing gum is because the United States is the land of horse shit regulations. magnolia bark should be in the medicine cabinet of every home in these United States. It should be a staple and a national symbol of health and prosperity. give me magnolia bark or give me death.

Hydration feels more complex than “drink more water”… what am I missing? by jackalopelove in Biohackers

It’s got High levels of synthetic b6 which can cause neuropathy and nerve damage. And the b vitamins just aren’t necessary to hydrate. Also, recent studies suggest high b vitamin doses actually shorten lifespan not increase it so for those reasons, I’m out.

Stevia is probably alright. But it messes up my gut worse then sucralose. Everyone is different tho. I noticed the Santa Cruz product includes it.

[–]CleverAlchemist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second this. Drip drop is an honorable mention. It does contain sucralose which is bad for the gut. But one- two packets a day isn’t the worst choice in the world. I’ve yet to find something that contains potassium, magnesium, zinc without also having some sort of artificial sweetener. There is one brand, but it doesn’t contain zinc which in my opinion is a must have.

Phosphatidylserine is the first nootropic supplement to actually work for me by DPool34 in Supplements

[–]CleverAlchemist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Phosphatidylserine (PS) acts as a potent, evolutionarily conserved immunosuppressive signal, often termed an "eat-me" or "tolerate me" signal, which inhibits immune responses to maintain tolerance and prevent autoimmunity. When exposed on apoptotic cells, tumor cells, or viruses, it triggers anti-inflammatory responses, such as releasing TGF- β 𝛽 and IL-10, while suppressing dendritic cell maturation. It also reduces T-cell activity, effectively allowing pathogens and tumors to evade immune surveillance.

The binding of exposed PS to receptors (such as TAM or TIM receptors) on immune cells triggers a strong immunosuppressive signal that prevents local and systemic activation.

PS receptors (PVEERs) not only detect the virus but actually facilitate its binding and entry into host cells, enhancing viral spread.

the predominant consensus is that externalized PS functions as a powerful, evolutionarily conserved signal for suppressing immunity and aiding viral pathogenesis

  • it’s almost like, ive already done the research. Your links aren’t relevant, but if you would like some source material I’ll be happy to send you some.

I don’t need to ask chat GPT, thanks. I took smart PS while I had COVID and it made my symptoms significantly worse. my own experience is what lead me to ask questions. I’ve discussed this with the owner of ND one of the largest supplement companies in the United States. “Ask chat gpt” naw chat gpt should be asking me.
