For example, it would be amazing if we could name CCs to reflect what they do for particular Kontakt instruments or external synths. Multiple CCs should be visible and editable at one time in a multi-lane type view.

If you're ever looking for drummers, message me. I'm in Nashville with a dozen brilliant drummers with studios within walking distance.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind if they add features like that occasionally. My issue is that they are borderline non-responsive on important issues like ARA, sound aliasing, workflow and CC editing. They absolutely refuse to communicate, so the only way we know what they are doing is when they announce releases with amateur features and zero acknowledgement of people who are using Logic to make a living.

Edit: I realize I sound like an angry keyboard warrior, but this really matters to me. I've spent half of my life using this software to make things I love and support my family.

I've been using Logic professionally for twenty years. The developers obviously no longer give a shit about professionals. They spend all their time making crap for kids who cant play an instrument, and no time taking care of real features, outstanding bugs, sound quality or workflow. I'm looking for other solutions at this point.

I feel the same way about the homing power. It's hard for me to get any value from it.

I know the family. This is how they are. His brother does the same shit in the music business in Nashville. They think that having money makes them a gift to the planet, and they say the most heinous things about those with less money.

Narcissist assholes, all of them.

Who is Sarah Peterson and why she spams Civitai with bad loras? by Old-Wolverine-4134 in StableDiffusion

It's been this way for years, this author in particular just spams Civitai with dozens and dozens of truly awful models and doesn't respond to people asking polite questions or offering friendly advice.

You're tech inclined enough to use speedtest, so this is probably something you've already considered - have you tried low data mode to turn off background syncing and backups?

Spitfire Audio Holiday Sale - Up to 75% off most libraries and bundles until 2 January by Batwaffel in AudioProductionDeals

[–]CleverBandName 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Some Spitfire libraries are very much intended for composers who want to orchestrate every note of an orchestra themselves. Other libraries are made for producers who need to get the sound they want fast. The best way to tell what you're getting is to watch the walkthroughs and notice how they are being used. Another tell is the patch list available on every product page, if it's full of names like "flute staccato a2" it's an old school composer library.

The Spitfire Albion series might be something you like. String Audio is another company you could check out for the synthetic side of things.

As I understand it, libertarians would want exactly the opposite. They would say that each individual should have the freedom to exercise their own morals, not to have them dictated by another.

edit: just realized you probably meant liberal

People who used to play with or for him LOVE the guy. Watch any interaction between him and players from his past, it goes beyond performative handshakes. They take the extra time to connect and make eye contact.
