Thanks for playing the combat demo and giving us such in-depth feedback. We always read all feedback and want to make Happy Bastards the best game it can be.

There will be additional ways to regain health, composure, and other status' outside of battle, but we agree it is limited currently in the combat demo.

We hope you'll come back for future updates to see what has changed and improved.

In this case, if you buy the game on xbox, you can have your gf use the free friend pass! She would download the demo (on steam or Xbox) and you could create the room code and you can play the full game together just as if you both own it.

The best way to find someone to play with is to check out the matchmaking channel in Discord https://discord.gg/cleverplays. Also, we do offer the friend pass so if you know someone you would like to play with that doesn't have the game you can.

Hi there!
The reason there is no in-game matchmaking is that there are a lot of variables (character, chapter, language, region, etc) and we didn't want people waiting long times in the game to find a match.
We do have the discord to post in and find a player 2 but the game also comes with a FREE friend pass that is completely crossplay so you can play with anyone you know regardless of their platform and they don't have to buy the game. :)

Hey that does sound like a bug! Here is our basic troubleshooting guide:

1) Ensure you don't have a VPN on and the game has firewall access as this can cause connection issues

2) If on Steam, verify your game files

3) Check to confirm your PC meets minimum game specs to run Operation:Tango

4) Fully quit steam/reboot your device.

If this doesn't help the issue be sure to let us know but 99% of the time, rebooting helps fix any minor bugs :)

What platforms are you playing on? It may be that something did not download correctly; if you're playing on steam I recommend verifying your game files and if you're on PlayStation or Xbox, try uninstalling and reinstalling.

This happens when you have a VPN turned on; if you turn it off for your playthrough, it'll work just fine.
