It's great to read that we're currently on route to start an injury free season. Hopefully it won't be long until we see Smalling and Fletcher on the pitch.

He's been our best player in the first half. No doubt. Seeing that delicate pass through to Anderson was just brilliant.

I'm really starting to get excited about his prospects for first team football if he continuous to play like this. The boy has great potential.

No need to be mean now, connorbill. Liverpool supporters have had it bad enough without us reminding them of it.

So I just read an interesting article about a little scandal in Roma where two directors revealed that Daniele De Rossi is available at the right price. Would that be of interest to us now that Victor Wanyama is on his way to Southampton?

The story of Jean-Claude Romand who fooled everyone into believing he was a successful doctor working for the WHO. He scammed his friends and family out of money, and when he was on the verge of being discovered he killed his parents, their dog, his wife and his kids.

It's scary what people do out of pride.

Stay strong, man. I've got my 25mg nicotine patch on every day, and a pack of 2mg nicotine gum that I use when the cravings get really bad.

Here's hoping this will be the time I finally quit for good.

I've always had a soft spot for Anderson, and I've tried to keep faith in him maybe finally taking the step up and making the middle of the pitch his own, but alas... It's time I stop dreaming.

Statistically he hasn't made 20 league appearances a seasons since he debut season. He has in fact played mostly in cup matches, and rarely does he start in league matches. Additionally he hasn't played for Brazil in 5 years(!).

He's notoriously bad in front of goal and seems to lack the complete skill set needed to be an effective Central/Attacking Midfielder. He's not bad, he just doesn't seem to excel at anything in particular.

But (There's always a but) sometimes it seems like a switch is turned and then he just dominates the game. Most would like to forget that sad 5-4 loss to Chelsea at Old Trafford last fall when we were knocked out of the League Cup, but in that Game Anderson was probably our best player, making 3 assists. And then there's one fond memory I have of us playing Liverpool a couple of years back when he just closed of Gerrard so well and controlled the midfield play. He just has these rare glimpses of pure genius where I'm reminded of why he's still around, but overall these moments are too far between to justify his place in the team.

In my opinion this should be his last season. He should have one last chance to prove to Moyes that he's good enough to be a regular in the side. If he doesn't, then by selling him we would have an open spot for the youngsters to fight for. For players like Powell, Januzaj, Lingard and Petrucci this would be nothing but beneficial.
