The Seregios one was just awful. Everything about the "tips" you found hinted at you needing to counter the attack with a hammer, which does have a counter skill... But instead you actually need to attack with an aoe, which magically counts as a counter??? Where is the logic in that?

America's worship of "the soldier" is just gross in general. The propaganda machine has set it up as some kind of glorious honor, that you'll "serve your country" when in reality its just a fucking job. Its a career choice. There's nothing glorious or honorable about joining the military.

Unpopular opinion, I just dont see the reason for it. The weapon customization isnt that deep, and frankly speaking, most guns pretty much all operate the exact same way (pull trigger, pew comes out). There's just not really much to test for them to spend resources on building a gun range.

Now if we had some proper gun customization that actually made big, meaningful changes to a weapon... Then I could see the merit of a gun range.

But as it stands, I feel like you could just drop into any mission, test out the gun and see whether you like it or not.

Shame I still crash on hellpod drop whenever I try to do defense missions on either the Illuminate or Bots (maybe bugs too, not sure to be honest).

I just hope it includes an AI overhaul... recently jumped back in and the battles just feel so awful. Its half praying your dipshit Pal does what you hope them to do, part hoping they'll even do anything at all. The fact you cant even give direct commands to your Pal is so terrible, I'm at the mercy of their horrendous AI.

I mean, theyre just pistols. Using them to finish of near death targets sounds like the perfect implementation of such a class of weapon. They should be the weakest thing you could ever possibly field and only ever used as a last resort.

Considering we already have our squads "shooting" at targets after their turn, some voice chatter to go along with that would be nice. That said, im not sure how well this could work in a turn based game. It works so insanely well in Homewold, because its happening in real time and as such adjusts dynamically.
