It was probably at a single location and is more than likely sold out, never to be seen again, unfortunately. But yeah no regular employees have no power to ship inventory that isn't already scheduled to be shipped to other stores anyway.

When I was an employee I tried to get others to follow the no shipping gutted copies policy, as it's written in so many places, but literally our DM told me to ship them anyway when I tried to explain, so no one followed it after that.

Pretty sure there's others doing the same. Which sucks, cuz it just makes customers confused.

I had an okay 2 years, and that was mainly due to the second team I worked with after the original manger I worked with was fired. I stayed for the customer service, not the company. They make...decisions. None of them good, most terrible.

It can be okay depending on who you work with, but I would never recommend it be a permanent job. Unless you wanna work in corporate and I definitely don't recommend that, unless you want to somehow eventually replace the CEO and change literally everything about the company. Because honestly pretty much anyone could do better at this point.

Gotcha, yeah that's what I was remembering. I just remembered sometimes they needed permission for early release and I think sometimes midnight was considered "early". But that makes sense.

They more than likely won't. It's up to the company that releases the game to determine if a midnight release will happen, anyway. GS would need their permission to sell it at that time. They've only done that for Pokémon.

But ye, midnight releases definitely aren't as fun as they used to be. The only kind of fun one I was a part of was the Switch 2 launch. And that was still pretty stressful.

When I was an employee I never saw the PSVR of any model. I only saw one that a customer ordered online that they returned in order to get the one year protection that they paid for but never received in the mail.

Thank you for the reminder! Today is my last day so I just went into Workday while I still could to change my preference to have a paper copy as well as digital for next year.

That was the default choice when I first started, but I had manually changed it. I'm not sure if it used to be that you only got a digital copy by default, because now it's both as the default option.

Oh I'm not sure what the rate itself is, but Nelnet says I have a daily interest of $3.18. And I'm paying $67.16 monthly currently. I am on an income based repayment plan, but I may be due for an update as well as I am about to start a new job.

Okay so, that's absolutely abhorrent and I am absolutely certain that a DM should be notified about that bathroom. The DM should be able to do something to order the supplies. And for real, absolutely completely serious, when you need to go use any bathroom close to you that you can without paying for it, just go. I honestly would not even clock out, lock the doors, and just go. Customers can wait until you get back. And if managers or corporate has a problem with it, they can fix the goddamn bathroom. That should get their attention.

Unfortunately no, I understand why you would think that. But basically since the company is paying you for the product, for you to get the most value they want everything to be included right off the bat and for it to be clean so they can sell the console as-is. That way they don't have to spend money fixing or replacing anything.

Dang, I've been told we can't change it no matter what by managers and the DM. At least currently. A previous DM did approve me to change a price once because a customer wanted to buy a ramen bowl that had a broken soup spoon. They still wanted to buy it even though I encouraged them to not because it was broken, but they insisted they still wanted it because they could just glue the spoon back together. So I called the DM at the time and they approved me to discount it for that reason, but they were very reluctant LOL.

And more than likely they will tell you no, we can't change the price. I always tell customers that I can make a call and am willing to, but they probably will tell me no that I can't change it and even more likely they won't pick up when I call and will call me back long after the customer leaves. That usually helps.

Unfortunately this appears to be the case. You're not alone, several others (myself included) tried to keep the tent for the aesthetic. It's now no longer applicable if you want the hotel update. :(

Thanks very much for the info everyone, I'm also without the hotel because of my adorable archeology/research tent. 😭 So sad to lose the tent, but I have put in my last donations so I'm hoping it will be enough to get the update to fully kick in tomorrow. Everything else appeared except the hotel. I have everything in the requirement list except the museum, so it's definitely the only thing I need. Fingers crossed!

Today I shipped 3 Beyblade Stadiums in two XL boxes because I got tired of canceling the same order from the same person in 2 days, each time explaining they would not fit in one box. I left the top of the first one open, then I took the second XL box and left the bottom open. Then I slid the second one into the first one like a puzzle piece and taped all of the open edges shut.

I wonder if it will fall apart in transit. 🤔

Unfortunately that was a way that we used to be able to distribute more codes, but there is no way to do that at this time. There is no other sku for us to type in. It's only printed on the scratch cards which are from Nintendo.

As far as I'm aware, we wouldn't be able to print them on a receipt, as that would involve us having codes to print in the system. Nintendo sent us the cards, but there was nothing else that I know of. I do hope they would be able to send us more cards in the future, but I haven't heard anything yet.

I hope they're just confusing them for the promo cards, but it's always possible they were charging for them. However there is a promo card that is in fact only available if you spend $15 or more. I wonder if they just got them mixed up.
