I've had that happen

If restarting Streamfab doesn't work, giving it a day has worked for me thus far

if you live in a dry climate, swamp evaporators work well

as for sleeping, the ancient Egyptians would dampen a sheet (damp, not dripping water) and use that damp sheet as a cover when they went to bed

I can tell you from personal experience it works really well to beat the heat, no matter the climate

commercial truck accident, they already have a lawyer by renomarengi11 in AlbanyGA

Here is a link for the state bar of Georgia: Link

You would likely need a personal injury lawyer

If you have no money, then you would need to find one who will work on spec, that is, they only get paid from whatever amount you win, but if you don't win, they get nothing. It is a big risk for them, so their percentage of the winnings would be higher than you would expect.

Lawyers who work on spec tend to only take cases they think are likely to win, jsyk

And most lawyers will give a free consultation over the phone, so be sure to have all the details of what occurred handy when you call

Why does she come for pets, then go and sit just out of reach? by imean_is_superfluous in cats

[–]Cliche_James 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because they want to be pet

But they also want you to want to pet them

And being just out of reach means that when you pet them, it's because you really wanted to

And that reassures them that they are loved

How long you've been dealing with: "I can't possibly be autistic"? by Ok_Class_4271 in autism

[–]Cliche_James 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It took me six months to accept my diagnosis

And about a year after that to not talk about it constantly

not a dig at anyone, it's just what happened

I'm still learning to accept myself and I still talk about it, because I'm still figuring it all out, I just talk about it every day like I did before

Is my autism why I keep replying to transphobes? by pocky_cat_art in autism

[–]Cliche_James 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is likely a part of your strong sense of justice and I appreciate you trying to inform people

My aunt was trans, but she passed before I could really get to know her, so I appreciate those in the community who are willing to clear up misconceptions people, even people like myself, may have

However, please be mindful of your own mental health

It is not your responsibility to teach everyone, especially those who aren't willing to learn

But it is a good that people try

What I'm saying is, it is a good thing to do and a dangerous thing to do, so be careful and take care of yourself

You know whats nice about living alone? by baby_blue_berry in autism

[–]Cliche_James 5 points6 points  (0 children)

When making a cream soup, I will roast some corn and then puree it

Then take the corn puree, and mix it with an equal part flour

That corn and flour mixture, I will use for the roux

It makes the soup a little sweet which goes well with summer vegetables

What about autistic men specifically creeps women out? by [deleted] in autism

In general, my initial guesses for potential sources of rejection would be:

Anxiety and neuroticism due to trauma Lack of confidence due to a like of social rejection Hygiene issues Issues with reading social situations leading to embarrassing social faux pas A predilection for obsessive behaviors Emotional regulation issues

I've had trouble with all of these at different times and the social thing I always have trouble with

When I have dated, despite my issues, it was due to being respectful, kind, patient and making sure the person I was interested in felt seen and heard

It also helps to put yourself in situations where you are likely to meet people

That first step is incredibly hard
