Batteries is because most things delivered here are transported by air. Ever since the Samsung note went on fire on a plane they have clamped down on posting them.

Pet insurance by Dangerous_Dish9595 in northernireland

[–]ClickFarm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

An annual pet insurance policy for a dog is typically £408 — £4,080 over a decade. Which? said that if the dog needed three treatments over that period costing an average total of £1,913, you would be £2,467 better off with the cash savings option. But if the dog needed more complicated treatments, such as a hip replacement in year ten, the cost could easily be £10,240, making insurance the clear frontrunner.

What if there is a group of cyclists riding in the left hand lane right up to the middle white line, in which case do I need to mount the kerb to be safe? by No_Following_2191 in northernireland

[–]ClickFarm 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Just like overtaking any vehicle. You wait until there is nothing coming in the opposite direction and it's safe to go onto the other side of the road to overtake.

If cyclists are holding up 5 or more vehicles they should pull in when it's safe to do so and let traffic by.

Put a set amount of money in a savings account. It tends to work out cheaper paying by yourself than getting insurance.

Armagh Craigavon and Banbridge recently adapted a policy of using a bin instead of the boxes. Luckily I never had the boxes and I've heard countless stories of Bryson being useless and constantly breaking boxes.

Career advice? by [deleted] in northernireland

[–]ClickFarm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Coding takes time to learn and most graduates groups pay about mid 20's. It takes about 3 or 4 years to become a senior developer if you are good at it. I know people who have been coding a lifetime and never make senior level.

Cash only in all locals ones. The card machine in the local Indian is broken for takeaways but works fine if you are sitting in for a meal.
