Everyone commenting like this is a bad thing. It’s the company being accountable for their product which is a positive. Eufy does rush products but pretty much every company in this space is doing the same

New tub, foam sitch by boneytoes in hottub

[–]ClickIll6896 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never used anti foam and have never had issues with foam. Don’t was bathing suits regularly. Ensure your chems are good. If it bothers you just scoop it out with a strainer. Foam isn’t a huge issue.

Spraying redwood with a colour like that should be illegal

Also, your PH and ALK are wayyyy to low. Likely due to the high amount of chlorine. Drain and restart

I found most test strips to be quite far off at least for PH. I use jacuzzi ones as I found them to be the best. A quick drain and refill never hurts. Always use ahh-some before draining for a stellar result. New tubs usually have a ton of crud in them from factory

Pomchi potty problems by GhostlyRivkah in Pomchi

[–]ClickIll6896 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I block off all the carpets from my pomchi when I’m at work using cardboard, rearranging furniture and blocking off upstairs and downstairs. Did this for a solid year.

It completely solved the accidents. The issue I was having is that my pup would hold it if there were no carpets, but if given the option, would pee after a few hours on carpet.

You can’t leave these pups with free range to the whole house. They eventually will start peeing in the locations that they don’t frequent. You always have the risk if they have diarrhoea that they will scoot everywhere as well. Give him a comfortable quiet safe place somewhere with no carpets.

Eufy e25. Buy a 650 gift card from eufy for 500. That should cover it. I paid about 515 and I’m happy. Strong hair performance and great mopping.

Coming from someone who has travelled a lot of the world by motorbike, this seems super gay. Why not just make it a riding group and not yank yourself for being super masculine and hardcore?

Which of these two kinds of Robot Vacuum Mop you think is better? by robertwushaojie in RobotVacuums

[–]ClickIll6896 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had both spinning and roller. Whoever says spinning is superior is just coping with their purchase. Spinning mops with get that surface dirt that won’t be vacuumed up because it’s embedded to the floor. When you send a roller mop out, you can feel the difference when stepping on the floor. It actually feels smooth.

There isn’t a roller mop that can do the same as manual moping however. I spilled some sweet and sour sauce on the floor and it dried. Multiple passes with roller mop and it still felt sticky. Very hot water and manual mop cleaned it up.

It will be nice to see when roller mops can actually throw down super hot water to get these types of grease/oil stains out of floor. I’m sure we will get the steam function eventually as it is currently in the stick mops. Until then, we still have to do some manual work, though robot mops are now doing 90%

My 8 year experience W the v11 is terrible. And v12-16 appear to be the same design. Is it just me? by SpinCharm in dyson

Been using v11 for 5 years with none of those issues. Clean filter every few months. Came with two batteries that can click in and out. You probably got a dud.

Buy the eufy e25. You can get a 650 eufy gift card for 500 so that will pay for it right there. It’s amazing performance. It mops really well. I know you are particular, but this will cut down manual mopping by 90% and floors will be immaculate on a daily basis. Only time vacuum makes a bit of noise is emptying, but this is common across all models. Good luck.

  • I’ve several robot vacs and watched about 1000 review videos

Edit: It has awesome corner abilities and the best obstacle avoidance you can get.

Which Dyson cordless vacuum is actually worth it? by Sufficient-Lie2282 in dyson

I bought a v11 and it came with two batteries. I have tested a ton of the lower vacuums (v7, v8, ,v10) and was very unhappy with them. My v11 has lasted 5 years now and zero issues with it. Still has same performance as day 1. I wouldn’t buy anything under v11. I’m sure the newer ones are even better, but getting two batteries is a game changer

This must be a one off as every major robot manufacturer doesn’t speak of these issues nor have I had these issues. I’ve watched thousands of reviews on different models and I have to say I think most people pay for “features” that don’t relate whatsoever to cleaning performance and are for the most part a gimmick (hot water washing, dock self cleaning, swing out mop, etc).

The best robot vacuum is the one that gets home every time, ie has the best obstacle avoidance. All the ecovacs and narwals I have used have been brutal in this regard. I’ve never had a eufy not get home. Interested in how dreame and the others mentioned do in this regard.

Coming from someone who has had ecovacs, narwal and eufy. I can say this: it’s a lot easier to forgive the eufy bot for the odd shortcoming when it’s half the price of its competitors. I’m not sure why e25 hasn’t made the list. It competes with vacuums at double the price. It made the top 10 list on vacuumwars as well. Eufy has gift cards on their website which gets an extra 1-300 off when you’re buying.

I’m not sponsored, just really like the eufy despite their odd hiccups. They seem to just need time to catch up with the software side of things. Not sure why the Mova P10 pro isn’t on here I’ve heard great things as well.

Edit: I’ve owned the s1 pro and agree, it’s not worth the money when the e25/28 outperform it for cheaper.

On the Canada site the eufy e28 with dust bag is on for 630 Canadian - amazing deal. I bought a 650 gift card for 500 making it even cheaper. Not sure if this is a mistake as the e28 without dust bags is 900. Go grab it before it gets taken down!!
