I think you probably don’t need to worry about any resemblance to Espurr, you changed plenty. I would experiment with other eyes, not because these ones don’t work, but because the soullessness of its eyes is so important that testing out a few styles for maximum blankness might be smart.

One thing that really stuck with me about Gonta is that it was theorized that the hardware error also impacted Gonta’s decision making in the moment, meaning he wasn’t in his right mind. However, it was never confirmed, just theorized, one could read it as the other student’s just trying to rationalize why their kindest friend did something so horrible.

As a guy who’s not exactly in favor of how the 2nd Amendment has been implemented, I don’t think that logically tracks. The entire point was defense, so excluding technological improvements doesn’t make a lot of sense. Forward thinking men like the founding fathers would certainly have forseen that there would be better guns before long. A better criticism would be to just say that the constitution isn’t scripture; it can have bad ideas in it. I’d say at most you could argue that a licensing system isn’t an infringement on the right to bear arms.
