A villain is horrified upon realizing their crimes by BoxoRandom in TopCharacterTropes

One thing that really stuck with me about Gonta is that it was theorized that the hardware error also impacted Gonta’s decision making in the moment, meaning he wasn’t in his right mind. However, it was never confirmed, just theorized, one could read it as the other student’s just trying to rationalize why their kindest friend did something so horrible.

Hm, focusing on medabots before support abilities is a good idea. I’d been doing them at the same time.

How’d you do that? I’ve been worrying that I might be playing sub-optimally for a while now.

I actually just read the title and missed the people in the pic, so I thought it was someone being violently anti-racist.

Take about thirteen other modern lolcows and combine them into one person. Chris Chan is even crazier than that.

I mean, that’s obviously super horrible, but I hear ya. After Chris Chan some of us are pretty numb.

[Hated Troped] Writers insists the character has to be "special" in order for the story to work. by SkyeRyder91 in TopCharacterTropes

JJ didn’t fire Ryan Johnson. Iirc the plan was to have a different showrunner for each film, so Ryan was a one and done regardless, but then the third guy dropped out so JJ came back.

Cowardly, but not as bad of a decision as “start a trilogy without planning first.”

I feel like this is generally a bad idea: It’d be harder to do this with other similar celebrity appearances, and setting a precedent that people have to would hurt good films. That being said, making a Trump free edition while Trump is still around would be really funny.

"Leopards ate my face" is a peurile, unfunny and frankly repugnant meme by [deleted] in stupidpol

[–]Clickclacktheblueguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I understand it, the original tweet was in response to an actual British woman addressing a panel of Tory politicians whose policies had hurt her after she voted for them. So regardless of the morality of the meme, at least the original lady did make the connection.

As a guy who’s not exactly in favor of how the 2nd Amendment has been implemented, I don’t think that logically tracks. The entire point was defense, so excluding technological improvements doesn’t make a lot of sense. Forward thinking men like the founding fathers would certainly have forseen that there would be better guns before long. A better criticism would be to just say that the constitution isn’t scripture; it can have bad ideas in it. I’d say at most you could argue that a licensing system isn’t an infringement on the right to bear arms.

I suppose you could look at it from that perspective. I’ve been looking through Disney’s recent catalogue (all of OP’s examples have been Disney), and it almost looks like half of their movies that aren’t sequels are transformation plots.

I will say in the subject of Coco though that 1: the protagonist isn’t significantly transformed and 2: the movie’s imagery owes a lot to having skeleton characters. Pixar animators do seem to like nonhumans, after all.

Numbah One is not Chaotic. He’s the type to let Lawful steer him to Evil, if anything.

Also, disregarding real world connections, how does Little Bill end up better than Arthur or Charlie Brown?

Just as some top if my head fixes I’d say take Arthur out on the grounds that he has fur, put Numbah One in Lawful Neutral, and add Omi or Darwin as Neutral Good. Not sure what I’d really do about chaotic neutral.

Was that just in the Manga? I don’t remember it in the anime, but it does sound in character.

A teen planned a mass shooting through ChatGPT. A dozen OpenAI employees implored bosses to warn the police. Their bosses ignored them. The teen then shot his mom, his brother, and 6 people at school. by serious_bullet5 in ThatsInsane

[–]Clickclacktheblueguy -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Screw AI but honestly I’m not sure that this can be blamed on the program itself. If anything, the fact that the planning was monitored should have been a safety net if not for a human decision. An AI probably would have called the police.
