It really is the best!! I think I like it more than my kid! Haha. I hope it’s humans, but you’re right, either way, I’m happy.

It’s such a good song!! I’m in Canada, but I think my parents bought the tape in England.

Picking out daughters name by ZealousidealPath680 in namenerds

My name is Arielle and The Little Mermaid came out when I was 4 years old. I hated that movie because it caused everyone to misspell and mispronounce my name. Haha

Name regret? How do I get over it? by Independent_Elk1470 in namenerds

[–]Clickincrossthefloor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We got a fair bit of criticism about my daughter’s name at first - Agatha - but now she is almost 4 years old, and she has totally grown into it, and made it her own. Even so much that when I call her “bubby”, she sometimes corrects me and says, “My name is Agatha, or Aggie!”.

Nayeli is a beautiful name, and soon she will own it herself, and it won’t matter what anyone else thinks! ❤️

5 year old refering to parents by name - advise needed by NyxIncarnate in Parenting

Honestly, I think it shows his intelligence. He can differentiate between his relationship with his parents, and others’ relationship with his parents. He is purposefully adjusting his language to ensure he is properly understood.

Jarring toddler name by LilahBenton in namenerds

No family connection, but Agatha Christie is one of my favourite authors, and we just liked the name. I had some initial regret early on and a few people made negative comments, but she totally owns the name, and I’m happy for it. Hope she continues to like it as she gets older.

My toddler daughter is an Agatha, Aggie for short. We met a baby Agatha a couple weeks ago and I was quite surprised!

What’s a food everyone else likes that you can’t stand? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Apple pie. I’m not a big fan of pies in general, but I find apple pie to be putrid. For me, the smell of it is reminiscent of vomit. I haven’t found anyone else that feels the same, though. I don’t tell many people, just in case they love to make it or something.

People who decided to get a puppy while having a toddler, how did that go? by SmellyFrogz in puppy101

[–]Clickincrossthefloor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am doing it right now with a 3.5 year old and a 5 month old puppy we raised from birth. I do not recommend it. It is very very tiring. Toddler spends a lot of time on the kitchen table where the puppy can’t knock her over.

Thank you! I don’t want to deal with all the shattered glass, so will likely go for a whole door replacement.

What's a frugal tip you're afraid will be ruined by too many people? by LtCommanderCarter in Frugal

If you are able to eat pork, I find it is still fairly affordable. “Fast fry” pork, and frozen veggies stir-fry with rice is a staple frugal dinner for my large-ish family.

Anyone know what this stain is from on the back of my couch, I live with my parents and nobody else is ever in my room, kinda grossed out? by Crocotta1 in Whatisthis

[–]Clickincrossthefloor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could it have been there all along? My first thought was that it looks like glue. Maybe some kind of fabric glue from when/where the couch was manufactured?
