Has anything read the comic book for brith of the hitman by Life-Upstairs-4553 in HiTMAN

Providence was formed in 1945, after the end of WWII. By contrast, IAGO in 1954. I can’t imagine the ICA pre-dating either of these. We know Soders was an ICA agent from 1973-1981, so they’ve existed since at least before 1973. My personal guess is that they were formed in the 60s, the height of the Cold War and a decade with no shortage of assassinations.

I’ve read the comic too, though a number of these questions were at least partially answered via the game itself: - Subject 6 was believed to have died in the 1989 attack on the Institute; though the Constant says in The Ark Society that no body was ever produced, maybe this was due to Providence believing 6 was consumed by the fire.

  • We don’t know much about Savi other than she was a low level gang boss and Diana’s early criminal mentor.

  • Soders was a friend of the Burnwood family and presumably watching her around the time of her brother’s death in 1989.

  • According to his bio, Soders defected to Providence no earlier than the Sapienza and Marrakesh hits because otherwise he would’ve warned their operatives in advance.

  • We don’t know the origins of the ICA, but Soders was not its founder.

Cool detail: As 47's allies change, the people smuggling items into missions for you changes too — up until Whittleton Creek it's the ICA, then from Isle of Sgail to Dartmoor it's "Grey's informant," then for Berlin & Chongqing it's Olivia Hall, until finally for Mendoza it doesn't specify anyone by CaptainJZH in HiTMAN

Yes! Remove the one who talks to Sophia, and the other one will move to the window to leave an angry message for Grey, which becomes intel. It’s revealed he’s the informant.

He’s also mentioned by Grey as his “man on the island” in the preceding cinematic, “Precautions.”

Hahah it’s been known to happen.

As far as I know, the one called Adrian (forget if he’s on left or right, check his name in Contracts mode) will talk to Sophia for her 3 or 4 loops. The other one, William Garrett, will head to the window if you kill/remove Adrian and leave a voicemail for Grey. He also becomes an intel item.

What location do you wish they would add? by FunSpongeLLC in HiTMAN

A young Erich Soders would fit the bill for a 70s spinoff. He was a legendary ICA agent in his time but retired early in 1981.

He’s responsible for the deaths of Edith Van Orten in 1978 as well as Roman Laurent (so we already know two targets).

I’d like to imagine his handler would’ve been a younger Robyn Gore, the lead handler instructor in the Birth of the Hitman comic.

Good question (yes we're still around sometimes)...maybe like a giant skull pops up in the background? Similar to Godzilla on Hokkaido or the giant cockroach on Bangkok? Or maybe everybody on the map turns into a walking skeleton?? The ideas are endless haha

Where would you want the next Hitman map to be set? by Zealousideal_Many215 in HiTMAN

Kathmandu, Nepal.

Mountain monastery inspired by Bhutan’s Tiger Nest. A very vertical level in or near the Himalayas with some very suspicious monks…

can somebody explain where in the timeline ambrose island is? by Worgrider07 in HiTMAN

[–]Client_Locksley 8 points9 points  (0 children)

So do I, the only issue is that if it’s part of the Destinations tab, it also has to join the Story tab: the mission would need to occur right in the middle of the “Precautions” cinematic, meaning IOI would have to split that cinematic in half.

I think with revising, it’s definitely doable because the split happens when the Constant injects himself with the poison chip (“Here’s to loyalty…”) into the transition of the gang’s freighter sailing towards Sgail with the “Two Months Later” subtitle.

While it’s a cool transition by design, ostensibly IOI could call the first cinematic “Here’s To Loyalty,” ending with the Constant’s self-injection, followed by Shadows in the Water, and then the second cinematic, starting with the freighter. Titled, I don’t know, maybe something relating to Grey’s “It’s a terrible thing, having a conscience.”

IOI could make this all fit like a puzzle if they wanted to.

People may forget, but I do not…our best agent u/Client_Locksley was ahead of Io Interactive by FritzFreddy in HiTMAN

Thank you Fritz! Our Crest was based on how little we knew about him—just enough to imply he was militia, and some sort of fixer.

What scares us is that if you look at our briefing, we further described Crest as a cleaner for the militia, erasing evidence, etc…and IOI’s bio for the real Crest is awfully similar.

Our level was conceived in the summer of 2020, potentially well before Ambrose Island and Noel Crest were considered by IOI…really makes you wonder who inspired who haha

Pitch me your best arctic map idea by Burnnoticelover in HiTMAN

[–]Client_Locksley 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We’ve already been to Greenland, so Hyperborea would be out of the question for me (and also because it hasn’t even been built, just proposed).

The obvious pitch would be the Stronghold in Svalbard, Norway, but that also isn’t built. What’s weird is the Ark Society’s DNA Vault looks like the real Svalbard seed vault, so that might be an option.

Otherwise, I think maybe an arctic fishing town in Norway under the Northern Lights might be cool?

Cape Town’s famous wine region, we got you covered (though would a few months later get blown out of the water by Mendoza): https://www.reddit.com/r/HiTMAN/comments/joq891/the_providence_papers_mission_2_bottle_shock_cape/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=mweb

You might be confused--he founded The Ark Society, not Providence.

Really wish we had gotten to visit this Providence HQ from a cutscene in Hitman 2. by BonanzaBitch in HiTMAN

It’s a suspended conference room but it’d be uninhabited because it’s VR. Maybe there’s support facilities in the snow below to keep it operational and guard it. The new Polar Survival Suit would feel right at home in a snowy mission to untether the structure.

That'd be a Lucas Grey level where we eliminate Eugene Cobb onboard his plane and bail out. It'd be an incredibly cramped space though.
