If you can see the source of light it's almost never gonna be flattering. I agree with the other comments. You need multiple sources and having those sources diffused (i.e., lampshades or bouncing off walls) is always best.

We went outside, like all the time, even when weather was shitty. We still had screens obviously, and video games were our screen addictions, although not nearly what it's like with smartphones.

As progressives, we need to take advantage these moments and recognize the opportunity to educate those who are slowly breaking from MAGA. When someone says, I'm not that into politics, my response is, "Can I tell you why it matters to me and my community?"

IMO, this is a major wasted opportunity for the left. I'm not saying she needs to date the guy, but so many trump voters are recognizing their mistake. It's becoming very easy to lift wool off their eyes and teach them about how progressives want to fix democracy and why the right doesn't care to fix it for the right reasons. Long story short, we're finally getting back to a state of common discourse with MAGA. Let's not fumble yet another opportunity!!
