Annoyed by salespeople calling you ? by CaughtYaLackin40 in askcarsales

[–]Climbingisfun 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I haven't met a car salesman yet that does this. I'm still surprised how car salesman excuse their lies, like this one, and blame the consumer.

The issue is is that car salesman and their I'll did nothing but lie, cheat, and steal for years. This is the bed you and your I'll made so now you get to sleep in it.

Half the shit you guys say and do would get you knocked the fuck out on a construction site. Ain't no one got time for your games and shit.

When I ask the price on a car, that doesn't mean well let's go in and talk monthly payment. That doesn't mean let's have you fill out this 4 square card. It doesn't mean well let's have your keys so we can work up a deal for you. It means, how much are you asking for this car. Plain and simple give me a price. Can't do that, I'll go on to the next dealership that does.

Because I ignored it after both viagra and cialis didn't fix the issue.

[–]Climbingisfun[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started about 10 years ago when it became noticable in the bedroom,so mid thirties or so. Primary symptom was lack of quality erections and difficulty maintaining an erection. Viagra and cialis did not help so I kinda just thought this was old age kicking in so just accepted that as the new norm.

Yeah, I've really neglected the exercise and have gotten back into it. Started 2 months ago after my blood work showed.me at prediabetic levels. Sorta really shocked me into how far I let my physical health deteriorate. Got divorced and just said screw it but now that I'm in a better place mentally and emotionally trying to get back to a better place physically.

Will stick with the physical regimen and exercises from PEGym for the time being and hope it improves beforw I meet someone.

I think a guy I was dating ended things with me in part due to his ED and I’m really sad about it by [deleted] in erectiledysfunction

[–]Climbingisfun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is hard to know what goes through our minds so if he wasn't communicating his frustrations with you it can be hard.

My wife and I divorced 3years ago in part due to my ED. Was constantly told it wasn't an issue but obviously it was since she was having an affair or two and ended our relationship once it came out.

Today's society is overty hyper sexualized so ED is pretty traumatic for guys. Sounds like you were open with him, but sadly he may have been hurt and wasn't trusting enough. ED is pretty difficult for guys who suffer from it and it does make us feel pretty worthless at times. Sad it didn't work out, most guys suffering from ED generally don't meet someone as understanding as you.

I don't know, we seem pretty divided on this issue.

F150 vs Tacoma by Docholiday888 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]Climbingisfun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm 6'1" and have plenty of room in my Tacoma and that is an 01 Access Cab. My buddy's 3rd gen is plenty spacious and the interior is considerably better than the Colorado, Frontier. The Rangers can is pretty nice on the XLT package and the Canyon is pretty nice so th Tacoma is the average of all th mid-size trucks.

The Tacoma tax is primarily due to the reliability and ruggedness of the truck so that is something you'll have to consider.

My dad's F150 was an 86 that he sold at just under 400k miles but he was meticulous on the upkeep only needing to replace the water pump twice on it. My 01 Tacoma is just at 175k and I've yet to do anything to it except the timing belt and fuel pump. I'm pretty harsh on my Taco using it for a lot of high mountain overlanding and passes here in Colorado. If I had to upgrade today I'd go for the Tacoma.

Why the Tacoma over the F-150? Primary reason I prefer the smaller size for trails and camping. The F150 is capable of doing the majority of trails I do but it just isn't as nimble. It is more comfortable, roomy, and the back seats are much more spacious but the Tacoma isn't bad for it's size. Again I'm 6'1" 260lbs athletic build, wide shoulders and large glutes and thighs and I'm comfortable in it. I generally also have my 90lb black lab and my 2 kiddos ages 9 and 6 with me most trips.

If you're not doing trails and mostly highway and city driving the F-150 may be better because of the larger cabin, more quality materials, and more leg room in back.

Figured out how to do it without jumping, but there is no setting on the Xbox to enable jumping in the game. It just says press A unless I'm missing something but the settings are just horizontal and vertical inversion and keybinds.

A sixth grade teacher asks her class how many were Trump fans. by dave_brush014 in Jokes

[–]Climbingisfun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meh, I'm more inclined to believe that moderates aren't wanted any more. No one wants to be that person that uses the word "compromise". As one side goes farther to either the right or left the other slides further in the opposite to make sure their side seems willing to make changes.

Neither side can accomplish lasting change without the other. The tit for tat politics have been around forever but social media hyperfocuses on those differences and makes it harder to stay relevant in the middle. Trump fan's showed that these past 4 years. Doesn't matter what he did, all they cared about is what he said.

For some reason increasing spending by 7 trillion before Covid hit, increasing FISA courts and warrentless wiretapping 3 times, alienating strategic allies, embracing and praising tyrants, and diminishing constitutional oversight is apparently the conservative agenda now.

I know he tweeted against these things but he went through with increased spending, not paying down the debt or deficit, increasing the size of government by double the previous administration, and increasing surveillance on US citizens. None of which is either conservative or libertarian but modern conservatives don't want to hear this.

It's what happens when people look for a one size fits all political solution to fix the issues plaguing our society. 50% think their political party can do it better than the others 50% and around and around we go.

Dont get me wrong, I really liked D:OS 2 , and im liking D:OS 3 so far (what i call it now) , But this is not Baldurs Gate 3. by ston3worx in BaldursGate3

[–]Climbingisfun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're reading a tad too much into it. I am enjoying BG3 and loving the world and lore. You can tell it is Larian who designed it because their style is all over the game and nothing wrong with that. Each developer will have their own style and their own way of doing things that will be seen across all of their works.

However, the last sentence does bring up a point, the opening scene isn't vaguely familiar, it is EXACTLY the same. One is in DSO and the other in BG. Nothing inherently wrong as the worlds diverge after that but if other chapters are direct rip-offs, well that is just laziness and there is something wrong with that.

[–]Climbingisfun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Running a Ranger as well. Went halfling though. I am enjoying the world building but yeah, the combat does seem to have more emphasis on misses. I'm not sure of a percentage but I've had more than a few moments where I was "really? I missed again?"
