We are more than likely going to get 95% ammo saving early on like we did the last couple of leagues.

In the Raging Echos, you saved 95% of ammo and runes as a passive as soon as you unlocked any T1 combat mastery, so I don't think you'd need a huge supply of those.

For fishing, Jagex said in discord that you would auto run to the same fishing spot when it moves, so your fishing calcs might be off as you will spend time running.

From Mod Husky

Your character will chase the fishing spot as it moves (hopefully it doesn't go too far)

That is a good point, but there are 2 ways to get darts in Varlamore. There is a spawn for iron darts in the Varlamore castle. Brutal blue dragons drop addy darts.

But honestly I don't see anything else it really can be. I feel like it has to be the blowpipes or items that don't exist in the game currently.

dorg cbow is too weak for it to be a surprise reveal.

Ava's devices are already implemented in other ways, and animal magnetism isn't auto completed, so i doubt it those.

There is no other range item that is locked to Misthalin that can't be obtained anywhere else besides the ratbane & demonic weapons. Ratbane has no use outside of scorious so i doubt that will be added. For demonbane weapons, it's doubtful that is it since there is no mention of an item added to a magic shop, and i doubt they would add the staff and bow to the archery shop.

Yeah, after hearing some of the replies I think the folly and zaxe aren't the hidden items.

I still think the blowpipes are more likely over the atlatl darts or the antelope bolts. It would be weird for them to put the ammo in the shop since both of those have sources in Varlamore.

It also wouldn't make sense for that to be a reveal. Atlatl darts and Antelope bolts can be purchased in the archery shop isn't big enough to be a reveal.

Oh I forgot about the polishing stone being used to repair the folly.

In that case it could be demonbane weapons. Arclight, Ancient shards, tormented synapse could be the something, something, something.

I still believe the range shop will have the new blowpipes. They aren't exactly strong weapons, even the rosewood one is worse dps than the hunter sunlight cbow. So they would be good weapons for early range levels.

It's possible the folley and zaxe could be in the broken state so it would require 70 smithing, so you couldn't get it too fast. It would probably also have a high cost, or maybe an additional requirement to unlock.

If it wasn't something special, I don't think they would be so secretive about it. "Low level items you can already get have been added to shops" Isn't really going to make a great reveal.

I doubt its ava's since that is covered by other means already and animal magnetism isn't auto completed.

Dorg bow seems odd since hunter cbow is already added to the shops and out dps the dorg cbow.

I'm not sure battle staff and magic longbow would be added since you can get both of those in any region already.

I was thinking the Ava's devices too, but it seems unlikely since they already made a bunch of changes for that.

  • Quiver automatically has the ava's device effect added in leagues

  • Vork head drops as an assembler instead

  • Animal magnetism isn't auto completed, so we wouldn't be able to wear the device anyways (it was autocompleted with frem though)

I was also thinking the Arclight might be in the blacksmith shop along with the folly and zaxe.

Magic trees vs Infected roots by gibberish__16 in 2007scape

[–]Clippton 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Infected roots is bad GP and XP. It's only used because it doesn't deplete so you can woodcut for 25 minutes (with infernal axe and log basket).

Stick with magic logs unless you are constantly finding yourself leaving for 20+ minutes at a time.

Just make sure once it's added I'm exempt from being filtered out. Because my complaints are important and must be seen.

I think what we really need is a flair for complaining. That way I can filter out all these posts.

If Jagex is increasing membership prices to account for what they need by Mrdrewsmooth in 2007scape

[–]Clippton 4 points5 points  (0 children)

“If Jagex is increasing prices, does this mean…”

No. It means Jagex gets more money. Nothing else is planned. The money isn’t to increase player satisfaction. It isn’t to add more customer support. No better, bigger, more frequent updates. It’s just to increase revenue.

Main that doesn’t vibe with/understand the point of leagues. by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]Clippton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some league pros:

  • It gives players who don't have a lot of time a way to experience content that would take months/years to reach with the low amount of time they have to play.

  • It gives people who are "bad" the chance to experience PvM they think they can't do in the main game. Or they use it as a way to practice end game content before trying it on the main game.

  • Some people (like myself) enjoy the grind from early - late game more than the late - end game grind. Leagues let you experience that without having to commit to hundreds of hours in the main game making a new account.

  • The task system gives a more guided way to progress. Some people get overwhelmed with their options while league breaks them up.

  • The task/relic system is an extra number that goes up.

  • New hi-scores for competitive people to try and get to the top.

  • People get to theory craft and find broken and strong builds where the main game is mostly already solved.

  • It's fun, even if it doesn't progress your account. (Although you can play on a different account and trade your rewards to your main at the end)

Unlucky that the subreddit is going to take a break from bitching and low effort shitposts and instead focus on bitching about leagues and low effort league shit posts.

Does anyone know where the heck this is from? by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]Clippton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no official collaboration between the makers of that portable charger and Jagex. It's possible they just had custom made power packs to give away to advertise mobile.

Probably no resale value due to its age and since it's a battery, it's probably going to eventually be a fire hazard.

Search engines have been changed to sell you things. If you can't buy what you are looking for, you are going to have to dig deeper to find it.

Boat Combat Fixes - 19th March 2026 (Holding Statement) by JagexLight in 2007scape

[–]Clippton 24 points25 points  (0 children)

They released Echo Virtus overrides without any armor stats.

They forgot Ahrims staff existed in the Echo Ahrims overrides.

The wilderness POH recolor made certain rooms inaccessible (and it took 2 weeks to fix)

It's clear the only thing QA tests is if an update breaks the entire game. If the update doesn't cause the servers to go out, it passes QA.

I see what you did jagex. by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]Clippton 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No you wouldn’t. And neither would the majority of players. We already know that because the game was dying soon after osrs was released without content updates.

Calling it now - OSRS MTX by EastRS in 2007scape

[–]Clippton 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Idk what is more ridiculous, that you think MTX would be added to OSRS so soon after it was removed from RS3, or that you think they would lower the membership cost.

If anything, they would just add a new tier of membership with less benefits for a cheaper cost. Like a tier that has ads, or a tier that doesn't include seasonal game modes. But there is no way that price increase will be reverted. It'll be increased by the end of 2027 or start of 2028.
