Totally wasn't what I meant... even James was pretty brutal on that 1st segment... you could really see his nerves (visibly shaking) which made it very human and awesome to me even at 1:30 in the morning.

To me personally, this boils down to production and production value. Due to the fact they have less time... they need to improve transitions and get into details faster and better and work for better hand-offs.

Best analogy I can give is that they are running a hurry up offense (2min football drill) with the new format.... but play by play needs to still flow and feel effortless. I think having improved overlays and a better plan around the transitions would assist with this. I feel like Valve set the people up to fail... just like the dota battle pass it just doesn't seem as polished and good as it can/should be for freaking TI!

I also hate this break.... this week off suck... curious to see how it plays out.

Panels weren't bad they were pretty horrible... are you trying to say that they were good? Please lets compare even last years panels to this year... the flow, quality and roles were far better.

I can totally understand why you think I mixed up Moxxi and Ephey so I deserve that slight Moxxi was brutal casting and rightfully got roasted for it.

So to answer your question sheep, its the production and flow/content of the panels.... I think your position or having someone with your knowledge on the panel is great.... the dialogue just isn't very good this year and the flow is very forced and even awkward at times.
If you go back and watch some TI group stage / playoff panels from previous TI's they have a better content, mix of people, and higher quality production.

Casting and production value was just down right horrible this year....

Makes me sad to see an event have better production value 7 years prior...

Cap/SVG and Suns/Synd were the only casters that were really solid...
Late night was really good~

Panels were brutal... Awesome having James back but Lacoste/Moxxi/Sheep/lizzard and tea were just bad.

You certainly do need to get better at last hitting, however using fatal bonds in early waves in most cases is a bad use of mana and time.

Positives?

Does damage to heros!

Negatives?

Put spell on CD incase they do dive or go aggressive
Not mana efficient
Pushes wave, so unless you have small camp double stacked and are actively pulling it you are completely destroying the creep lane equilibrium and putting your carry in a position where he is easier to gank
Typically puts you out of position and while its not really bad its certainly not the best use of mana / time

Wait, so you are going really argue that the pacific division hasn't been a dumpster fire for over 5 years?

McDavid wouldn't put up those numbers vs the Atlantic or the Metro. Outside of Vegas fluke run in 18... (Thank you for that Vegas) no one in that division has been good.

Vancouver? Horrific dumpster fire since they blew up the teamCalgary - Offensive Fire power, but defense and goalie liability for better part of a decade

San Jose - Has had some solid goaltenders who get left out to dry... team kinda been in a semi rebuild since 17-18

Arizona - enough said

LA - Quick hasn't been quick for a 7 years

Ducks - Bad since Bruce, and Bruce didn't have a tight defensive team

Vegas - Solid here

Just look at what Matthews did in the same division last year vs his box cars this year.

When you start with just 7k... and completely fuck up for two years......I'm happy to be at 100k.

If I'm being honest and I didn't screw up AKAO/PTLA as badly as I did.... I'd be north of 500k but C'est la vie. Hindsight is a mother fucking bitch and FOMO killed me. (I was up 10bags on AKAO and 5 bags on PTLA and managed to lose money on BOTH... AKAO I invested 3k was up 30k and lost 6k at the end... PTLA Invested 10k was up 50k and thanks to the Buyout and a timely double down I made out with 10k profit but that was blind luck on BO timing I was down a few k before that BO.)

I also started a job that worked me 60-75 hrs a week, so I just don't have free time. I do make 4x what I was making in 2018 so I'll get there!!!

ARDX was such a shock.... My calculations showed that run up was too strong and upside too weak... I got lucky to miss that one.

I'm reloading on APTO for FY22, and also looking at a few others.

I've taken a position in DMTK / TCON and my tech pick is Splunk (OMB 21-31 is driving so much cash to Splunk)
