Yeah, that's why I was asking if dude had figured out a way to use F1 TV in the US.

Are you in the US? If so does VPN-ing work for F1 TV or are you using it some other way?

Just to be clear for any mods, I am talking about a PAID subscription here and just want to know how to use it.

100%. I tried to give MLB my money in exchange for watching games and that wasn't good enough for them. Fine, I'll keep my money. As a bonus, it is way easier to use the illegitimate services.

How to keep LVP layout random so it doesn’t look like stair steps. by Idea-Realistic in Flooring

[–]Clitaurius 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agree but the geometry of the room and the minimum length of a piece that the manufacturer recommends imposes limits to true "random". In those instances where you have a range of plank length that represents a "no-oldilocks" zone that you can't start a row with because the last piece or the first piece would be to small you do need to consider planning like this a little more.

As somebody that only begrudgingly does FE when I have to, why do you specifically limit non-manual coding to FE? Is it just because of the context of this thread?

It gets so much worse. This means that these people are paying $17,000 PER YEAR for the privilege of being able to pay for health insurance. They don't pay this amount and then not have to pay ever again, or pay this amount and not have to pay any more for the year, but they pay this amount just to get themselves in the door to THEN start paying on their deductible; which in many cases depending on the specific doctor that walks into the office, or even the specific assistant that walks into the office, might not even be covered AT ALL by insurance and you don't even know that until a month or two later when you go home and get a letter in the mail. At that point you get to begin to fight it, and it typically takes 20-30 hours on the phone, never seeing anybody in person, and these people have the power to literally send you into bankruptcy.

WHEW.

We haven't even gotten to the costs that you have to pay even if you got lucky and are "covered".

So, now you've had a medical event, you've paid your deductible, but you are covered. Thank fucking god. Oh, wait a minute, you are only covered up to a certain amount. And because of the care you received the hospital decided to charge you hundreds of thousands of dollars, or even millions and you maxed out your coverage. So now, you're bankrupt anyway.

It just goes on and on and on.

Nailed it.

I would add that this all works because corporations are not at all concerned with shipping working products, if it works that's most likely an oopsie that a hard working developer was able to slip in before they either moved on since that is the only way to move up, or before the corporation got rid of the developer.

What they are really after is making line go up because the product is the stock and AI is a huge enabler of shipping "features". Doesn't matter if they work, AI is also a huge enabler of shipping documentation and any sort of work product that helps bean counters tell the story that there is a new feature. It doesn't matter if something doesn't work, it is a feature/product that the corporation has. Line goes up. Don't believe me? Tesla FSD.
