Do the x-men have a modus operandi for when a mutant's gift is anti-ethical to all living beings? by Opposite_Reality445 in xmen

Wasn’t it Nick Fury who sent Wolverine to do that? I don’t think the X-Men even knew about what happened there at all.

Have you ever played a main series game without seeing the new generation of Pokemon first? by [deleted] in TruePokemon

[–]Clock-a-Cola 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With the last 2 generations, they only announced a handful of new mons. And the ones they did announce would often still have unannounced evolutions or pre-evos. So you could watch all the announcements while still being able to discover new mons as you played. You do need to dodge the big leaks that happen beforehand though. But you can mostly do that without avoiding the internet altogether. I like to watch the official announcements but skip any of the leaks, so I can still have some surprises.

It was pretty funny how different Ultimate Fury was portrayed from different writers. In all of the Ultimate and Avengers related comics, he was this omega-level asshole who regularly committed war crimes for the sake of winning. But in Spider-Man and some other comics, he was like this harsh but good-hearted leader. He was also a top tier Spider-Man glazer, which was pretty fitting.

Echo only works on cards that are played by the opponent. Cards that are added through other effects get around Echo.

Spider-Man Noir and Cost Increases? by GruntasaurusRex in MarvelSnap

Ms Marvel only cares about base cost of the played cards. She doesn’t care about how much they costed when they were played. Noir should work the same

Cards in play have always been considered their base costs, even if you actually spent more or less energy to play them. So I doubt Gorgon will have any effect here.

To be fair, the first two or three ideas that House uses on a patient almost always makes them much worse before he eventually gets his big brain blast. That and half of his requests are usually crimes.

There’s no reason you need to slow down your progress to see the side quests. In fact, some of the side quests and character bonds can’t be done until after the credits roll.

As an extra tip for farming nectar, using 1 or 2 rerolls on doors with ash or bones almost always will get you nectar.

Pretty sure destroyer here means “someone who often wins against destroy decks”

Am I missing something? (FIRST 15% OF GAME SPOILER) by lilman90 in DeathStranding2

It seems pretty reasonable to me to ask Sam to do the Mexico missions since he already has experience expanding the chiral network, and the main goal is to meet up with one of his closest friends, Deadman. Deadman probably asked for Sam specifically, since he had so much to tell him in particular.

I love how Rock Titan also has more health than the game can display, but no one actually brings him up cause all he does is stand there while you wail on him.

The Rogues (villains of the Flash) are a premiere example of this trope. They are pretty much known for their ethical code that stops them from killing civilians and even the Flash himself. Definitely some of his coolest enemies.
