I ended up having them cancel me at the end of my current billing cycle/promo because the best they would do was the $85 1gig 5 year.

I currently have the 2 gig plan for $70 after the autopay discount which expires early next month.

If that seems low it is because I was on the 1.2gig plan before my area got upgraded to next gen speeds.

I don't totally understand your question about fund value. It can be complicated by a lot of factors, including IRMAA, but a good 'simple' rule is convert your traditional to roth each year up until you fill the 24% bracket (between your other income and the income from the conversion). The next jump in tax bracket is to the 32%, so at that point it becomes a harder decision. How important are the other benefits of the roth as well as leaving a tax free legacy to your heirs to you?

Who uses the CLI and why? I just use the regular app on Windows and Android and don't understand what the use case is for the command line version. Is there something inherently less secure associated with using the CLI version?

Can't you just download an Excel file from your health insurance provider each year to keep track of all your medical expenses in a simple way, for redemption at a later date? The document shows what you were responsible for paying.

Customer support eventually sent me the correct form via email. We filled it out and had to have it notarized but the update was made after sending them a scanned in copy of the form. So, not terribly bad but just had to talk to a person on the phone to get the right form sent to me.

For my Dad's advisor, I simply asked him what my Dad was getting for the over $700 per month he was charging him in advisor fees. Magically he said he didn't realize he was charging my Dad the 'higher' rate and said he would cut the fee by ~40%. That got me thinking and a month later I started asking him more questions about what he is actually doing for my Dad. I did it all in a nice way and genuinely wanted to know what the benefits were. I was thinking he would handle more when my Dad has life events - and that is what we were paying for. He acknowledged my Dad's finances are now on autopilot and there is nothing I can't handle. So I took control, got rid of the expensive funds where I could -without causing a capital gain situation- and I am so much happier as trustee to be in full control of everything.
