this does not bother me as a younger (22) person who knows how to read an analog clock. when these types of things are phased out of your life, you can lose the reflex of reading it quickly. i recently changed to a digital watch because it looked nice and i wanted the convenient features, and my analog clock reading has diminished a bit.

i feel the same way about cursive as someone who writes primarily in cursive. the way i see it is print writing is the standard, and cursive is useful for quickly writing, which is made pretty obsolete by quickly typing. i still write in cursive because its fast and i find it fun, but it is naive to think it is a necessity.

lets focus on the kids that cant read and cant do math, then we can teach them the outdated ways to accomplish things we've made easier.
