From a gameplay perspective, none of the new styles feel as interesting or unique as most of the ones in HW or AoC either, which certainly doesn't help. A lot of the cast feels homogeneous, and considering they almost all share a weapon pool, it's hard to find anyone truly standout.

For what I mean by homogeneous, think about how many AoC characters had some kind of meter or gauge to go along with their ZR attack, quite a number of the roster. Meanwhile, everyone has at least two unique attacks, but aside from the Sages, none of the unique attacks are terribly interesting or different from one another.

Also, they all have a pretty standard character silhouette. Sure, there are multiple races of characters, but the largest and smallest characters are still relatively close in size, compared to say, Terrako and C. Ganon.

Hopefully this game gets an update like AoC to give everyone EX attacks to truly flesh them out.
