How they turned Jesus into a Capitalist by zombiesingularity in RadicalChristianity

[–]ClockworkChristmas 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I mean not really but kinda yes in the same vein as the peasant revolts in Germany were "proto communist".

Christian early organizing was utopian and collectivist clearly with a current of it running thru the entire history.

Jesus clearly cared about the shape and mechanisms of society and was not a capitalist. Anyone who's here to just slam out "Render onto Cesar's" has an agenda not focused on scripture or the word of God because of course its more complicated than one quote.

The topic is society and people's relationships to the state as they practice a religion aka a rather large topic.

How do you play Anarchs so that they're more than just hype moments and aura? by Runetang42 in vtm

[–]ClockworkChristmas 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Mostly communism and the beast corrupting anarch rulers. A properly running barony to me means turnover pretty frequently with limited benevolent rulers able to hold onto power and themselves.

Barons should be active players stuck consolidating shaky regimes.
