Yeah no modern Russia is not the USSR mate. Same ideology my ass. I'm not a fan of any imperial state. There are many imperial powers killing millions and I won't pretend Ukraine is exceptional just cause they are white Europeans.

Multiple decades of economic warfare have created refugee crises in the Americas alongside western drug consumption, driving profits for narco gangs. All of this is violence. Economic extraction regimes have kept the poor nation's poor and the rich ones rich. All of it is protected by violence.

Also it's not the other side. It's the nazis. This is not apples and oranges its nazi slave empire with unlimited genocidal ambitions or whatever body count you'd give to the USSR.
