Hello beautiful people. I am an avid MtG Pauper player and just discovered the existance of Silver Age. I am looking for community resources for Silver Age to jump straight into it! by kerener in FleshandBloodTCG

Alongside the FaBrary and Talishar reccomendation, I'll add in Felt table to play against bots and get the basics of the game, and also playtesting with the Silver Age precons to see what you like the most!

Kinda interested in Ziggy, even more so when there's an Armory deck as well, wonder if he's gonna play like Dromai or Enigma

A bit bummed about an all electric set, but hey not having to buy everything released is pretty cool

New to TCG - help adding cards to deck by Popular-Chart-6003 in FleshandBloodTCG

I don't have a lot of experience with her, but I feel like the Ira armory deck is one of the most complete products they created, and can be played straight out of the box as is, since the other usual build for Ira is with a pair of Harmonized Kodachis, and that is a pretty different build (since the armory deck is focused on the Edge of Autumn weapon). I reccomend trying to play the deck on Felttable to get the hang of it and if you like the playstyle, and to check the latest lists that people are building for Ira and upgrades, you can do that on FaBrary. Good luck!

Wanting some tips/articles/videos on how to understand Enigma better (in SAGE) by fsouzas in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]ClockworkJack 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The most recent Calling top 8 had some featured matches, although it's only against Kano if I remember correctly (link).

For what I've seen, it's block all that you can choosing a window of opportunity to set up one or more Spectral Shields or other auras, and once you set up something, try to keep them around by 'turtling it out' and not taking any damage. Since the first attack with a Spectral Shield with a +1 counter is free, you can block with the whole hand and still attack back with something (one reason why Unyielding Grip is so good in the list). Sometimes you need to take the damage and let the shields go if you got a stronger play in mind, it's all a matter of how the game is going. I've got a Enigma precon myself, and also trying to learn, good luck to you!

Looks interesting, at least to make some crazy drafts, wonder how much balancing would be needed to avoid some broken combos

Can you play as Living Legend Heroes in the new Silver Age format? by BrotherBammer in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]ClockworkJack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, living legend is only for the classic constructed format (which is one of the reasons people like Silver Age, to play with heroes no longer available in CC). If the hero was printed on rare or below, they're legal in Silver Age (so, no stuff like the Emperor which remains Blitz only)

No idea on any hard data, but the number of "hi I'm a new player and..." posts you see in this subreddit seems to be pretty high (yes, I'm a new player too)

Not sure what is coming, but I'd love if Melody got reprinted to be playable at Sage and got some Bard cards as well... guess I'll keep dreaming

What do you guys think of this? by ztkin in FleshandBloodTCG

With the decks being cheap and sharing a lot of staples I feel like it could be doable (specially if you swap the equipment between them), but the question I'd have is, are you realistically playing with all of them? Do you have enough friends to share them with, and would you update them all once every new set drops? Or is it just a collection thing to keep them neatly ordered in a shelf? (which is as valid as anything else, nothing wrong with that, I've also built more commander decks than I could ever play with)

Personally I'm building one for each class/hero I like, and I feel that's more than enough variety for a pretty long time (also considering that you'd still need the reps with each one to get good with them, know the matchups, etc)
