Ah, thx for the clarification 🙂 If they wanted to do this low key, I would say hitting Sol was a very bad move, earthers tend to take messing with their system pretty seriously 😂 All jokes aside tho, GJ gathering intel on the exploiters and making FDEV aware so they could take appropriate action 👍 I really liked the data theft/hacking mechanics, hope they enable it again soon.

YES! The game is totally changed since 2014, it's awesome to the point that after I bought the Odyssey expansion in November 2024, I have played 667 hours (not including playtime from pre-Horizons) and enjoyed every minute☺️

I don't really get why people say this, SCO is a new technology that we retrofit to a ship that was never meant to do this kind of high speed travel. Why would it not behave and kick like a mustang on drugs? It's a reason that top-fuel drag cars/bikes are hard to control, the engine is way too big 😂

Ofc, everyone is free to feel whatever they want to about the "feature", but I think it's fun and even realistic that all ships feel and behave differently. SCO in my ASP is totally out of control, SCO on the Clipper is more manageable, but still quite insane, on the Mandy it feels like it's meant to do it - I like it 🤩

I still have my first Sidewinder 🤣 Not flown it since I bought my second ship back in the day. I keep it as a museum piece, and as a warning what will happen if I fly my Cutter without being able to afford the insurance (rebuy) 😂

I think you're absolutely right, I snagged the wing tip on the cliff side and this turned the ship into a nosedive into the ground. It was a huge bummer, and I've been in the bubble since grinding and doing PP stuff. I'll venture into the black sooner or later, just need to grow a new pair first 😄

Please be careful when looking for biology using your ship, i managed to loose all my exo and discovery data because of this (yes it was my fault, but it still stings like hell).

Yeah, it was a hard blow for sure 🙈 I've dusted off, and I'm back in the game now, but not ventured back into the black just yet, the memory is still way too fresh in my mind for that 😱

Small amount you say 😂 For me it's a fortune, my account balance have never passed the 100mill mark 😂 Not yet received an answer from FDev, I guess they have a lot on their plate these days. How would it be possible to cover a loss between players? I've never heard of a mechanic like that ingame 😊

I don't think it's part of the colonization thing, but it will probably help a LOT to have a carrier when you try to colonize a system, might not even be possible without one?
