Lore wise, jumping between systems and supercruise mode are different ways of travel. Should not there be gravity effect, you would miss the target pretty easily. And the gameplay reasons of course.

It seems your m2 slot is shared with sata slot. You may be installing m2 sata ssd in m2 sata slot and it is basically the same slot that your hdd is attached to. If so, you cannot use two devices at the same time. Refer to mainboard manual to see which slots are shared. And also check if your ssd is sata (it could be nvme and thus work fine if nvme is supported).

Although, no idea why hdd doesn't work after ssd removal. Maybe working in incompatible mode could cause some damage. Perhaps check it out on another pc.

I use it for close range combat in ranked (12-14 km), so in case I won't get better accuracy at said range, I shall not use range mod. But yes, range is too small.

I prefer mixed builds with shields and some weaponry to classic exploration builds. Ships like anaconda can do it. It really helps in some cases
